While the New York Giants (1-1) avoided disaster last week against the Cardinals, the San Francisco 49ers (2-0) are probably set to add to New York’s loss column on Thursday.
With the 49ers expected to win handily, we look to exploit that game script by combining a player props trio into a parlay for TNF.

SGP predictions for Giants vs. 49ers
Christian McCaffrey anytime TD (-270) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The odds are out of control at FanDuel on a Christian McCaffrey touchdown in Thursday Night Football: it costs a whopping -270 to bet the San Francisco workhorse running back to find paydirt. If you're looking for something a little longer, our Esten McLaren is backing fullback Kyle Juszczyk with his touchdown scorer predictions.
Of course, it’s probably worth it, because he’s going to do it. Including the playoffs, McCaffrey has scored at least one touchdown in 13 of 16 games played since joining the 49ers.
We prefer the slightly more reasonable -220 odds at DraftKings on this prop, but either way, we’re counting on a CMC score as a low-risk way to juice up any SGP for this matchup.

Daniel Jones Over 211.5 passing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐
In Week 1, the San Francisco defense ravaged Kenny Pickett, but the Steelers quarterback still managed to throw for 232 yards. Matthew Stafford cleared 300 yards against the 49ers last week. Therefore, regardless of whether Daniel Jones keeps this game competitive on Thursday night, garbage-time passing is possible against this defense.
Our Jon Metler is also backing a Jones passing prop with our Week 3 player props.
Although the CMC prop had much better odds at DraftKings, the Jones prop has less favorable odds there compared to FanDuel’s -110. The line is worse at DraftKings, too, as Jones needs to clear 214.5 yards instead of the 211.5 at FanDuel.
Adding this second leg to our parlay at DraftKings puts the combined odds of the SGP at +150, while FanDuel’s odds are close behind at +146 for the two legs. Given the DraftKings' parlay is functionally more difficult to hit due to the Jones line being higher, it’s a dead heat at this point in terms of value.

Matt Breida Over 11.5 receiving yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Daniel Jones tends to target his running backs a fair amount, as New York RBs have racked up 12 receptions through two games. While a lot of that has come from the now-injured Saquon Barkley, the running backs should remain a valuable safety outlet in a negative game script against a defense that pressures the quarterback.
Matt Breida has the skill set to benefit from Barkley’s absence. Last year, Breida had 20 receptions for 118 yards despite Barkley being active for 16 games.
DraftKings has Breida’s receiving total at 12.5 yards with -120 odds on Over, pushing the total parlay odds to +284. FanDuel ends up being the choice for this SGP, as the -110 odds on Breida clearing 11.5 receiving yards pushes the SGP to +318.
