Most regular-season rushing yards odds analysis

Caesars has either the best or the worst odds on each of the 10 best candidates on the oddsboard. DraftKings has yet to repost its odds since Thursday Night Football.

Most regular-season rushing yards odds movement

Christian McCaffrey got a head start on the rest of the competition, getting his Week 3 action in on Thursday night. He's now up to 353 total rushing yards, and there's a 173-yard gap between he and the rest of the field.

Most regular-season rushing yards 2023: Favorite

Christian McCaffrey (+225 via BetMGM)

Run CMC is the new favorite in this category, and he's also a betting favorite in the Offensive Player of the Year odds. He currently leads the league in rushing and is averaging 5.9 yards per carry.

McCaffrey is the only rusher in the league to log more than 200 yards on the ground through two games.

Most regular-season rushing yards 2023: Contender

Derrick Henry (+550 via FanDuel)

Tennessee Titans stud running back Derrick Henry only recorded 63 yards on 15 carries in Week 1, but he followed that up with 143 yards in Week 2.

The machine of a man responded to his first injury-shortened season in 2021 with a full 16-game workload in 2022, turning that into 1,538 rushing yards. Henry is always a threat for 1,500-plus yards when healthy.

Most regular-season rushing yards 2023: Fade

Justin Fields (+6600 via BetMGM)

We're fading the +3000 odds at DraftKings here, though it's generally not wise to back Justin Fields to lead the NFL in rushing.

The Chicago Bears quarterback recorded 1,143 yards on the ground in 2022 to finish seventh in the league. He's come out of the gates slow this season, with just three rushing yards in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
