There are endless NFL futures markets with team futures such as the best record odds and worst record odds. Here are picks and predictions for the team to finish the 2023 NFL regular season with the worst record, using the NFL odds from our best sports betting sites.

The Carolina Panthers beat the Houston Texans in Week 8 to avoid the ignominy of a winless season, but they're still atop the oddsboard to finish with the worst record in 2023.

The Arizona Cardinals were heavy preseason favorites in this market, but they've fallen after Kyler Murray's return as he tries to bring the team back to respectability.

Meanwhile, the New England Patriots continue to plumb new depths in the Bill Belichick era, emerging as a legitimate threat in the worst record wagering.

While you take a break from scouring our latest Super Bowl odds and Super Bowl predictions, here are the latest NFL worst record odds (dead heat rules apply at select books).

NFL worst record odds analysis

This betting market is available only through bet365 across our best sportsbooks after Week 13. The Panthers took over as the betting favorites following the Cardinals' second win of 2023 and haven't looked back since.

The Giants crept into the race at +250 ahead of Week 11, but two straight wins sent their odds skyrocketing. The Patriots, fresh off dismal losses to both Big Blue and the Los Angeles Chargers, have emerged as the clear-cut second choice.

NFL worst record odds 2023: Favorite

Panthers (-200 via bet365)

The Panthers avoided the possibility of going winless with a Week 8 victory over the Texans. But little has gone right since, and head coach Frank Reich answered for it with his job following Carolina's 10th loss in Week 12.

Rookie quarterback Bryce Young has looked overmatched, and he's been the subject of rumors that the Panthers might have passed him over for C.J. Stroud but for owner David Tepper.

NFL worst record odds 2023: Contender

Patriots (+200 via bet365)

The Patriots are making history of the wrong kind, as they became the first team in the Super Bowl era to allow 10 or fewer points in three straight games and lose each of them after getting blanked by the Chargers 6-0 in Week 13.

With that kind of offensive ineptitude plaguing them, Bill Belichick & Co. will be hard-pressed to beat the Steelers, Chiefs, Broncos, and Bills before hosting the almost equally terrible Jets offense in Week 18.

NFL worst record odds 2023: Long shot

Commanders (+8000 via bet365)

The Commanders had been showing some fight in 2023, and Sam Howell has offered hope under center. But head coach Ron Rivera's seat is warming up following three disheartening losses. After faltering as heavy favorites to a bad-looking Giants team (for the second time in 2023), Washington coughed up 45 points in successive weeks to the Cowboys and Dolphins.

If Washington is falling apart at year's end and starts mailing it in, these long odds could look like a bargain come Week 18.
