NFL odds are finalizing at the best sports betting sites for player futures markets such as the most regular-season passing yards odds, rushing yards, and receiving yards. Take a look at the odds and our picks and predictions to be the NFL's leader in regular-season passing yards in 2023.

The battle to be the NFL's passing yards leader had been a two-man race for many weeks, with the best sports betting apps establishing Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins and C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans as the clear-cut choices. Tua has once again wrestled command of this race, due in some part to his play but also due to a concussion suffered by Stroud that cost him Weeks 15 and 16.

Can the San Francisco 49ers' Brock Purdy mount a late bid, or is Tagovailoa too far out in front? Here are the latest odds on the quarterback to record the most regular-season passing yards in 2023 from our best NFL betting sites.

Most regular-season passing yards odds movement

Tua has become the clear betting favorite at most of our NFL betting sites following Week 16. Purdy is the consensus second choice, and the only signal caller available at three-digit odds across our best sportsbooks.

Shop around to get the top price on your player of choice. bet365 offers the best odds on Tagovailoa, but the worst on Jared Goff, Dak Prescott, and Josh Allen. DraftKings has outlier highs on Purdy and Patrick Mahomes, and FanDuel on Goff and Prescott.

Most regular-season passing yards 2023: Favorite

Tua Tagovailoa (-160 via bet365)

A contender in the NFL MVP odds for much of the season, Tagovailoa is a logical alternative to pace the NFL in passing yards, even though he's been held to fewer than 250 yards through the air in four of his last seven contests.

Stroud's disastrous Week 14 performance and late-game injury helped Tua surpass the Texans signal-caller in this race heading into Week 15. He then pulled away a bit more from his nearest challenger in Purdy after dropping 293 yards on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16 while the latter was benched after tossing for 255 yards with four picks vs. the Baltimore Ravens.

The gap is 164 yards with only two games remaining.

Most regular-season passing yards 2023: Contender

Brock Purdy (+500 via FanDuel)

Averaging an insane 9.7 yards per pass, Purdy is a candidate for most passing yards as well as a current MVP contender despite ranking 21st in pass attempts.

Purdy closes things out with the Washington Commanders and Los Angeles Rams, giving him a chance to wipe the Baltimore game from his memory. The biggest challenge for Purdy in this race could be San Francisco knotting up home-field advantage a week early.

Most regular-season passing yards 2023: Fade

Patrick Mahomes (+1200 via FanDuel

There don't appear to be any viable long shots in this race going into Week 17, and that includes the struggling Mahomes.

Despite throwing a season-high 44 passes in a troubling loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, Mahomes amassed only 235 yards in Week 16. His 5.3 yards per attempt figure was his second-lowest of the year, ahead of only a dismal 4.1 mark vs. the Eagles in Week 11.
