Most regular-season passing yards odds movement

Patrick Mahomes remains the favorite at three of the four listed books. However, Cousins and Tagovailoa have jumped up the oddsboard after their performances through two weeks. Cousins' odds to be the league leader dropped from an open of +1300 to +450 at DraftKings and Tagovailoa's from +2200 to +450 at the same book.

Most regular-season passing yards 2023: Favorite

Patrick Mahomes (+350 via FanDuel, BetMGMbet365)

Mahomes was the only passer in the league to surpass 5,000 yards in 2022, and he did so after losing his top wideout Tyreek Hill.

The signal-caller has ranked in the top five in passing in each of the last three seasons. He's the favorite to top the league again, but Mahomes lost another top target when JuJu Smith-Schuster departed in free agency. The team's receiving corps is too shallow to back Mahomes at this price.

Most regular-season passing yards 2023: Contender

Justin Herbert (+900 via bet365)

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert finished second behind Mahomes in passing yards during 2022. In fact, Herbert has been the runner-up in this category over the past two seasons.

He dropped a shootout in consecutive weeks but is still putting up the stats.

Most regular-season passing yards 2023: Fade

Dak Prescott (+4000 via DraftKings)

Dak wasn't asked to do much in Week 1 and therefore finished the night with 143 passing yards. He's up to 398 yards after Week 2, trailing the league leaders by 300-plus yards.

As long as head coach Mike McCarthy is in his ear as the play-caller, we're not willing to back Prescott.
