Ja'Marr Chase's 177-yard two-touchdown performance against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football had a seismic impact on the NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds (OPOY).

Chase's odds shortened at FanDuel from +2200 to +600 overnight, shifting his implied win probability from 4.35% to 14.29%.

Saquon Barkley secured his seventh 100-plus-yard rushing game in Week 14 against the Carolina Panthers over his last eight outings and remains the clear favorite despite Chase's standout evening.

Derrick Henry was idle in Week 14, with his Baltimore Ravens enjoying a much-needed bye. They're set to play the New York Giants in Week 15.

Here's a look at the OPOY favorites as we look ahead to the NFL Week 15 odds

Live NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds from our best NFL betting sites.

  • Barkley has helped his Philadelphia Eagles become one of the Super Bowl odds front-runners
  • Thanks to his monster MNF performance, Chase leapfrogged Henry on the odds leaderboard at FanDuel and DraftKings
  • Barkley, Henry, and Chase are the only players with implied win probabilities over 14%
  • Josh Allen, the prohibitive NFL MVP odds favorite, produced six combined touchdowns against the Los Angeles Rams, improving his OPOY odds in the process.

NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds favorites 2024-25

Saquon Barkley (-450)

While Barkley has taken a bit of a backseat in the NFL MVP odds, he's by no means been taking his foot off the pedal. Falling behind in the MVP race is more down to Allen's exceptional exploits than anything else.

With four games remaining, Barkley has already broken the Eagles' single-season rushing record. He leads the league in attempts (266) and yards (1,623), is tied with Lamar Jackson for the most yards per carry (6.1), and the tailback has logged the most yards per game (124.8).

After two 100-plus-yard rushing performances over the Eagles' first five games this season, Barkley has registered seven in his last eight. That includes four outbursts for 140-plus yards, and one with an absurd 255 yards.

It's no wonder he's trading at -450, which suggests an 81.82% chance of him winning this honor. A $10 bet would return a $2.22 profit.

Ja'Marr Chase (+750)

We said it would probably take Barkley and Henry falling off a cliff for anyone else to win this award. While that's still probably true, Chase made things slightly more interesting by scorching the Cowboys on MNF.

Trust the Cowboys to inexplicably and inexcusably give Joe Burrow and Chase one last chance to insert the final dagger emphatically. The dynamic duo took full advantage, with Chase shimmying, leaving the Cowboys secondary for dead and taking to the end zone with just over a minute to play.

Chase has eight touchdowns in his last four games.

He is enjoying a prolific season after his early-season contract issues and has the best chance of anyone not named Barkley or Henry to win the award, especially after his unforgettable evening in Arlington, Texas.

My NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds player to watch

Derrick Henry (+900)

Henry's odds have lengthened slightly despite not playing in Week 14. After Chase's MNF performance, they lengthened even more, moving from +600 to +900.

Against the Eagles, he failed to score a touchdown for the second straight game after hitting pay dirt in each of the first 11.

The king was in the pole position not long ago while looking like he'd zoom out to an insurmountable lead. That was before the Ravens stopped using him like a workhorse.

While he's fallen below the century mark in rushing during four of the last six weeks, including against Philadelphia where he ran for 82 yards on 19 carries, Henry is still one of the best running backs on the planet.

He could make a case for himself again if he can continue to produce and keep scoring touchdowns for one of the NFL's best offenses, but probably only if Barkley slips.

FanDuel is offering +900 odds on Henry to win this award for the second time in his career, which would turn a $10 bet into a $90 profit if he does.

How to read NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds

Reading NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds is straightforward. Odds are usually presented in a format like +500 or -200. Positive odds (e.g., +500) show how much profit you’d make on a $100 bet.

For example, a $100 bet at +500 odds would win you $500, plus your original $100 stake, totaling $600. Negative odds (e.g., -200) indicate how much you need to bet to win $100. So, a $200 bet at -200 odds would win you $100, plus your $200 stake, totaling $300.

These odds also reflect the probability of a player winning the Offensive Player of the Year. Lower odds (e.g., +300) suggest a higher likelihood, while higher odds (e.g., +2000) indicate a lower probability. Sportsbooks adjust these odds based on performance, injuries, and betting patterns.

If Tyreek Hill gets +500 odds and Christian McCaffrey gets +1000, Hill is considered more likely to win. If you bet $100 on Hill and he wins, you’d get $600 back ($500 profit + $100 stake). Understanding these odds helps you make informed betting decisions and assess potential returns.
