NFL projected win totals 2023: NFC

NFC projected win totals odds analysis

There were an insane amount of win total movements in the NFC following Week 15 action, none bigger than the Green Bay Packers. The inconsistency in Green Bay continues, now on a losing streak and seeing win total projections slip from 9.5 to 7.5. It's the biggest movement in win totals this week.

Teams suffering a setback in the win totals also includes the Atlanta Falcons, going from 8.5 to 7.5, the Minnesota Vikings going from 8.5 to 7.5, and the Washington Commanders going from 5.5 to 4.5.

The Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals also saw win totals shift in the wrong direction - but none impact the playoff race. NFC teams that saw a win total increase following Week 15 include the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7.5 to 8.5) and the New York Giants (4.5 to 5.5).

How to bet NFL season Over/Under win totals

Sports betting sites set a number for a projected win total for each team, and there are specific odds for both the Over and the Under on that price.

Bookmakers set the total based on each team’s individual roster, offseason transactions, and past results. The strength of the division and schedule also factor into the total. There’s a vig attached to each team total too, and it can change based on the betting action and other factors.

NFL team win totals are futures bets. They can be placed up to the beginning of the regular season and are graded at the conclusion of the regular season.
