The NFL odds are always on the move, so here’s our look at the NFL best record odds based on the numbers from the top NFL prop betting sites.

The San Francisco 49ers started the season looking up at the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in the best record odds. After briefly taking over as the betting favorites, a mid-year three-game losing streak brought them back to the pack.

But the 49ers remain a bonafide threat to post the NFL's best regular-season mark once again after crushing the Eagles at "The Linc" two Sundays ago. Philly is now second by the odds amid a two-game losing streak, while San Francisco is favored after extending its streak to five games during Week 14.

While you take a break from scouring our latest Super Bowl odds and Super Bowl predictions, here are the latest odds for the NFL team to produce the best record in 2023.

NFL best record odds analysis

Of our best sports betting sites, only bet365 and FanDuel are still taking action on this market, and we're down to just six wagering options.

The Eagles' Week 13 loss to the 49ers obviously shook things up, and their defeat to the Cowboys jumbled the market even further. San Francisco went from +800 to +400 following that monumental road victory in Week 13 before dropping to the team's current status as +150 favorites.

NFL best record odds 2023: Favorite

49ers (+150 via FanDuel)

Is the comeback on in San Francisco? The 49ers were favored early in this market before three straight losses seemingly took them out of the running. But San Francisco has been turning its season around with a five-game win streak, including that dominant victory in the City of Brotherly Love.

The 49ers catch their toughest remaining opponent – the Baltimore Ravens – at home in Week 16.

NFL best record odds 2023: Contender

Eagles (+160 via FanDuel)

Oddsmakers obviously knew what they were doing when making the Eagles home underdogs to the 49ers in Week 13. Philly suffered just its second loss all season, and the Eagles did so in embarrassing fashion. The schedule didn't get any better in Dallas on Sunday night.

Jalen Hurts and Co. still need to travel to Seattle, but the team ends the year against the New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, and the Giants again. The Eagles aren't by any means out of the running in this market yet.

NFL best record odds 2023: Long shot

Cowboys (+600 via bet365)

It might be a stretch to call a +600 team that's tied for third place a long shot, but we're low on realistic options in this market.

The aftermath of Week 11 looked like the best time to grab the Cowboys here, as their three games before a rematch with the Eagles were against the Carolina Panthers, Washington Commanders, and Seattle Seahawks. But Dallas was still hanging at a fair price following complete annihilations of both Carolina and Washington, and the Cowboys didn't budge from +1000 week-over-week after surviving a Thursday night shootout with Seattle.

Dallas is 7-1 since an embarrassing 42-10 loss to the 49ers, including its 33-13 drubbing of the Eagles to even things up in the NFC East. The team has posted an impressive plus-127 point differential over that stretch.
