NFL best record odds 2023: Favorite

49ers (+550 via DraftKings, FanDuel)

Any doubts about the 49ers were quickly erased on Sunday as they raced out to a 20-7 lead on the Steelers.

The Niners play in a weakened NFC West and have few challenges on their schedule, needing only to play Dallas in Week 5, Cincinnati in Week 8, Jacksonville in Week 10, and Philly in Week 13. Two of those games are at home.

NFL best record odds 2023: Contender

Eagles (+600 via DraftKingsFanDuel, BetMGM)

The Eagles own the second-shortest odds at our best sportsbooks. Philadelphia represents great value at +600.

NFL best record odds 2023: Long shot

Jaguars (+1500 via DraftKings, bet365)

The Jacksonville Jaguars are listed in the top 10 primarily due to their division. They'll have six matchups with the rebuilding Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, and Indianapolis Colts. They'll also have four games against teams from the NFC South. That's 10 games against teams from the worst divisions in football.

The Jaguars' strength of schedule ranks 23rd as their opponents had a combined 0.477 winning percentage in 2022.

NFL best record odds 2023: Fade

Cowboys (+1200 via DraftKings)

Barring injuries or a Super Bowl hangover from the Eagles, the Cowboys will have a tough time winning their division, much less putting up the best record in the conference.

We're not backing any team that has head coach Mike McCarthy calling the plays on offense.
