McCaffrey ended the regular season tied with Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert for the most total touchdowns in the league. The 49ers’ rusher scored at least one touchdown in 13 regular season games. He was the first player to cross the goal line in four of those games, and he was the first San Francisco player to score in seven games this year.
Nothing has changed during the postseason as once again McCaffrey finds himself leading all scorers. He’s also played in just two playoff games. Although he hasn’t been the first player to reach the end zone, he’s found paydirt twice in both games.
This line starts as low as +300 on both Caesars and bet365. It falls between +325 and +375 on Hard Rock and ESPN Bet.

Travis Kelce, Chiefs, TE
Best odds: +750 via Hard Rock
Kelce had a quiet season in terms of getting into the end zone during his 2023 campaign. The larger-than-life tight end (who's featured in our Taylor Swift Super Bowl prop bets) crossed the goal line only five times throughout the regular season. Surprisingly, none of them accounted for the first score of the game.
However, the postseason has been a different story as Kelce already has three touchdowns in three games. He was the first person to tally six points in the Conference Championship game against the Ravens. While he wasn’t the first person to score against the Bills, he was the fist Kansas City player to cross the goal line.
Some books like bet365 are more confident in Kelce’s ability to score first, offering his line at +500. Most, though, hover around the +700 range with BetMGM in the middle at +600.

Deebo Samuel, 49ers, WR

Samuel was the second leading scorer in San Francisco, finding the end zone 12 times during the regular season. He was the first person to cross the goal line in two games in that span. Overall, he scored at least one touchdown in eight of his 15 appearances this year.
The 49ers scored the first touchdown in 13 of their regular season games. They managed to cross the goal line first in their playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. Samuel has yet to find the end zone this postseason; however, his versatility lends itself to creative play calling which could find him scoring early and quite possibly often.
The going price for Samuel's first touchdown is +800 across most of our best sports betting sites. Grabbing the extra hundred points for one of the most explosive players in the field is a bargain.
