Super Bowl prop bet facts

Still looking for help figuring out which side of your Super Bowl props to choose? Here are some quick facts to help you decide!

1. National anthem length: Seven of the past 10 national anthems have surpassed the two-minute mark, with the Over cashing six times over that span.

2. Coin flip result: Tails has a slight 29-27 edge over heads all-time in Super Bowl history. Additional fun fact: The team to win the coin toss has lost eight straight Super Bowls!

3. Opening kickoff touchback: Only three of the previous 31 Super Bowl opening kickoffs have resulted in a touchback; all three were kicked indoors.

4. Opening drive result: Only once in the previous 23 Super Bowls has the opening drive produced a TD – and that was a kickoff return score from Devin Hester at Super Bowl 41.

5. First turnover: The Eagles and Chiefs combined for 42 turnovers during the 2022 NFL regular season: 21 interceptions and 21 lost fumbles.

6. Which team will score first: The Eagles scored first in 12 of their 17 regular-season games, while the Chiefs produced the opening points on 10 occasions.

7. Which team will reach 10 points first: The Eagles were one of the best first-half teams in the NFL this season, winning the race to 10 points in 14 of their 17 games.

8. QB with first pass TD: Just three Jalen Hurts' 22 TD passes in the regular season came in the opening quarter; Patrick Mahomes had nine first-quarter TD throws.

12. Players to attempt a pass: The Eagles and Chiefs combined for just one pass from a non-QB this season (Chiefs punter Tommy Townsend had one attempt).

13. Missed field goal: Kansas City kickers converted 24 of 32 field goal attempts during the regular season, while their Eagles counterparts went 22-of-25.

14. More passing yards: Mahomes led the NFL by a wide margin with 5,250 passing yards; Hurts finished 10th (3,701) but did miss two games.

15. More rushing yards: Sanders finished fifth in the NFL in rushing yards (1,269) while Pacheco placed 25th (830), but both players had identical 4.9 yards-per-carry averages.

16. More receiving yards: Brown (1,496) finished with 156 more receiving yards than Kelce during the season, but Kelce (176) has a 126-yard edge through two postseason games.

17. Who will win Super Bowl 57: If I knew that, I'd be rich.

18. How many points will be scored: The Chiefs led the NFL in scoring at 29.2 points per game, while the Eagles finished third at 28.1.

19. Gatorade color: It's not much of an edge, but orange has appeared more than any other color (five times), just ahead of Clear/Water and Blue.

20 Super Bowl MVP: Don't bother taking any player other than Hurts or Mahomes here: A quarterback has won this award in 11 of the previous 16 Super Bowls.
