Best Super Bowl 59 prop bets

First touchdown scorer bet: Dallas Goedert

Best odds: +2000 via bet365 | Implied probability: 4.76%

Saquon Barkley is predictably the favorite here, as he should be after scoring an absurd five touchdowns over his past three games. But this market is even more about seeking a dark horse, as long as there's a smart, minimal investment.

Opposing tight ends have regularly been torching the Chiefs' otherwise reliable defense. Kansas City allowed the most yards to the position and the second-most receptions during the regular season. The team tightens up in the red zone, but the clear weakness elsewhere could lead to plenty of opportunities for Goedert, who's often been plowing his way for chunk yardage after the catch.

Take a look at Goedert, as he's getting +2000 odds from several of our NFL prop betting sites.

Anytime touchdown scorer bet: Kareem Hunt

Best odds: +135 via bet365 | Implied probability: 42.55%

Workload was briefly a concern for Hunt when Isiah Pacheco first came back from his injury. But the latter has often been struggling to return to form, leading to plenty of opportunities for Hunt still.

That includes three double-digit carry games over his last five outings, spiking at 17 during the tight AFC Championship Game. Hunt has scored in four straight contests too, and he's been efficient while notching seven regular-season red-zone touchdowns (tied for 11th).

Coin toss bet: Tails

Best odds: +100 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 50%

Tails gets a slight edge, coming up 30 times compared to 28 occurrences for heads. The Dallas Cowboys own the distinction of earning the most Super Bowl coin toss wins with six.

The Chiefs would move into a tie for third with the Miami Dolphins if they win their fourth coin toss this year. They've won the Super Bowl two of the three times Kansas City has taken the toss. The Eagles have won the coin toss twice, and they failed to take the game both times.

National anthem length props: Over

Best odds: -142 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 58.68%

The main national anthem market is the Over/Under on the total time of the performance. FanDuel Canada was alone among our best NFL betting sites while offering that market one day after the conference championships, and it's setting the total at exactly two minutes.

The total has remained the same since then, but there's been serious movement toward the Over in the last few days. It's priced at -142 after trading at -122 on Monday. A winning $10 wager at that price would result in a $7.04 profit.

Gatorade color bet: Purple

Best odds: +225 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 30.77%

It was surprising to see yellow/green as a favorite, albeit a slight one, when FanDuel first posted its odds on Tuesday. The Chiefs seem to crave that purple stuff, as it's been part of Andy Reid's postgame attire during their last two Super Bowl triumphs.

However, FanDuel quickly corrected that pricing and purple became the favorite there on Thursday while moving from +300 to +210. That color shortened a bit at BetMGM too, shuffling from +250 to +225. Purple closed with odds as short as +135 last year.

Kendrick Lamar first song props: Euphoria

Best odds: +600 via FanDuel Ontario | Implied probability: 14.29%

"Euphoria" opened as the favorite to be the first song Lamar performs during the Super Bowl halftime show, but that is no longer the case as "Not Like Us" and "Humble" have taken over at the top of oddsboards.

The surprise release from last April serves as one of the earlier diss tracks Lamar made about Drake last year. It followed three previous diss tracks made by Drake, and it would certainly start the halftime show with a bang.
