The undefeated San Francisco 49ers and their dominant defense face the Cleveland Browns in Week 6, and our top 49ers vs. Browns predictions center on the Browns struggling to keep pace with the high-scoring Niners on Sunday. The San Francisco 49ers dominated the Dallas Cowboys in what was thought to be their first test of the season last week. San Fran won 42-10 while forcing four turnovers, and outgaining the Cowboys 421-197 in offensive yards. The Niners will look to top 30 points for the sixth consecutive game Sunday.
Following their bye week, Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) is still sidelined and won't be returning to action on Sunday. Backup QB PJ Walker is set to start for the Browns, after rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson was utilized in Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens.

The conditions are expected to be a problem, with gusty winds and heavy rain forecasted for Cleveland on Sunday. That could make scoring a challenge, but we still see no reason why the 49ers won’t blow out the Browns.
The 49ers are coming off a massive victory over the Cowboys, so this could be a prime letdown spot. However, they've earned an 18-plus-point victory in four of their five games. San Francisco has also held four of its opponents to 16 points or fewer while scoring at least 30 in every contest.
The Browns' defense has been great, too. They’re allowing just 220.3 yards per game. But it won’t matter how good that unit plays in Week 7. The team surrendered 28 points to the Baltimore Ravens despite allowing just 296 yards. Without Watson, the offense kept putting the defense in bad positions, as two touchdown drives were 38 yards or fewer.
Walker has logged more experience than Dorian Thompson-Robinson, but not by much. The 49ers’ defense isn’t going to be challenged, and rainy weather is no problem for the team's offense since it leans on Christian McCaffrey.
