Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis makes his second NFL start, and first in prime time, against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football, so read on for our Will Levis player prop predictions based on the best NFL odds from our best sports betting apps.

Will Levis led the Titans to a 28-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons during his NFL debut in Week 8. Levis made history in that start while becoming the third quarterback in NFL history to throw four touchdown passes in a debut, joining Fran Tarkenton and Marcus Mariota. Tennessee is looking to snap a six-game road winless streak.

Meanwhile, Pittsburgh fell to 4-3 after a 20-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9. The Steelers were outgained 377-261 and are now the only NFL team with fewer total yards than the opponent in every game during 2023.

The coaching staff for the Titans was more than willing to see what kind of arm talent Levis possessed during his first NFL start. His 11.8 yards per attempt were the second-most of any quarterback in Week 8, according to Sharp Football Analysis. Also, more than 28% of his passes went 20-plus yards downfield, the highest of any signal-caller.

Levis’ ability to push the ball downfield will depend on the protection he gets from his offensive line. But he still completed 36.4% of his pass attempts (4-of-11) even when pressured in Week 8. He'll be dangerous when given time to throw against a Steelers defense that will be without Minkah Fitzpatrick, and the unit ranks 29th with a 108.7 passer rating allowed on 20-plus yard throws.

Much of our belief in Levis going over his passing yards total is tied to his coaching staff’s willingness to let him air the ball out downfield, and the signal-caller's accuracy on those passes. Therefore, consider this wager an extension of that thinking.

Pittsburgh’s defense ranks fifth-worst in yards per play (5.6), and it's allowed at least one 30-plus-yard completion in each of the team's last five contests. While three of those connections were for shorter than 37 yards (36, 32, and 30), there's room for variability with slightly more yards after the catch.

It's also encouraging that Levis established an instant connection with the team’s best deep threat, throwing three touchdown passes to DeAndre Hopkins in Week 8 after the wideout didn't score through Tennessee's first six games. Hopkins became the first Titan with three receiving touchdowns in a game since Kenny Britt in 2010, and we're banking on at least one deep shot from Levis to him.

This is a much less confident two-star play compared to Levis' yardage total. Still, these generous plus-money odds are enticing for a quarterback who already ranks second in the league in touchdowns on throws with 30-plus air yards (three) after only one start, according to Sharp Football Analysis.

Opponents know the path of least resistance against the Steelers' defense is through the air, as teams are throwing over 60% of the time against Pittsburgh. We wouldn't be surprised to see the Titans give running back Derrick Henry somewhat of a break on a short week, just four days after he carried the ball 22 times against Atlanta.

The Steelers' percentage of scores against them that are touchdowns is high at 48.3%. Also, the Steelers punt on nearly half of their possessions (49.4%, most in the league), which suggests Tennessee will get a time-of-possession advantage.

The Steelers have allowed three quarterbacks to throw multiple touchdown passes. There's just one game of film Pittsburgh can use to study Levis, and that unfamiliarity will contribute to a second multiple-passing touchdown game in as many starts.
