Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has topped 120 receiving yards in consecutive showings against AFC West opponents, and he’ll face the Denver Broncos for the second time in three weeks Sunday. In the Week 6 meeting between Denver and KC, Kelce was a force and racked up nine receptions for 124 yards.

Kelce Over 7.5 receptions (+112 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Last week, we got Kelce’s receptions prop near even odds on Over 6.5 receptions. It was a glorious afternoon as Kelce enjoyed essentially the best first half he’s had in his entire career. He finished the game with 12 receptions on 13 targets, easily cashing this prop.

This week, we’re choosing between the line sticking at 6.5 receptions--but with heavy juice to bet the Over--or taking the leap to Over 7.5 receptions at plus money. For the 6.5-receptions line, bet365 (-140) offers better value than DraftKings (-160) or BetMGM (-145) on the Over.

But given Kelce’s otherworldly involvement in the offense lately, we’re tempted to be aggressive and stay in the flames with Kelce on Over 7.5 receptions (+112) at FanDuel. Two weeks ago against Denver, Kelce caught all nine of his targets for 124 yards. Although it’s a lofty total, he’s caught eight or more passes in three straight weeks. The plus-money odds at FanDuel are tempting enough to lure us.

Kelce Over 77.5 receiving yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Is it getting to the point where I should wonder what I’m missing here? Travis Kelce smashed his yardage total from a week ago by more than 100 yards, finishing with 179 yards. The week prior, he had 124 receiving yards. While a decrease in usage could hit at any moment, why would it? Kelce, as the focal point, works for KC. We’re not fading, Kelce, given that our best sportsbooks aren’t really steaming this yardage prop yet.

This week’s line only increased by four yards from last week’s prop, which we hit at 73.5 yards. DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, and bet365 all list Kelce’s receiving yards total at 77.5, but it’s important to shop around for the best odds.

DraftKings and BetMGM are decent values at -115 on Over. At -117, Caesars isn’t as attractive for this prop. The highest quality odds are offered by bet365, which lists Kelce’s receiving total with -110 odds on Over. With -114 odds on Over 80.5 yards, FanDuel is a pure stay-away for this prop at current values.

Kelce any time touchdown scorer (-118 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

We’ll note that Kelce did not score the last time the Chiefs played the Broncos. But seeing as he has found the end zone in four of his other five games played this season, we’re interested in his any-time touchdown odds if we can get them anywhere near the price of a standard spread bet (-110 to -115, etc.).

Although it’s not the case everywhere, we like the odds Caesars offers (-118) enough to take the plunge on Kelce’s any time touchdown odds this week. At -125, bet365 is another adequate option, but we don’t favor the offerings at DraftKings (-130), FanDuel (-145), or BetMGM (-145) on this prop in Week 8.
