The Seattle Seahawks hit the highway to face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Seattle impressed with 11 sacks during a 24-3 victory over the New York Giants before their Week 5 bye.
Cincinnati finally resembled the team we expected to see when the season began. Quarterback Joe Burrow aired it out for 317 yards, with 192 of them going to No. 1 wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. The duo also connected for three touchdowns in the 34-20 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

The concern entering this game is how well the Bengals’ offensive line will hold up. Burrow has been sacked 11 times this season, including three times in each of the last two games. The lack of protection for Burrow was one blemish in what was an otherwise dominant performance for the Bengals in Week 4.
Now, the offensive line will need to protect Burrow from a defensive line that is tied for second in the NFL in sacks per game. However, we’re not buying into those numbers just yet. The Seahawks will be fresh coming off the bye, and they will certainly pressure Burrow throughout the game. Yet, prior to their 11-sack game against the Giants, they had just five in their first three games. This isn’t one of the best defenses in football, they just had a really good matchup.
So, with Burrow getting enough time to get the ball out and finally starting to look like his normal self, the Bengals are going to score. The Seahawks have allowed at least 27 points in three of their four games. One of those results came against the Carolina Panthers. They’re allowing 392.8 yards per game, including 305.3 yards through the air.
The Seahawks’ offense is going to do their job, too. The Bengals have allowed at least 20 points in four of their five games. Their defense struggles against the run, which could mean a huge day for Kenneth Walker III. But we’re banking on this being a shootout. These teams boast some of the best receivers in football. No matter how this game plays out, we envision both offenses scoring in the high 20s against bad defenses.

There is quite a bit of discrepancy over where this total should be listed. DraftKings and FanDuel haven’t moved the number at all since it opened, while the other three major sportsbooks have increased the total by at least a half-point.
The prices are the most shocking. Four of our best sports betting apps are offering a price of -110 for the Over no matter what their total is listed at.
However, DraftKings is offering -108, despite having the lowest number listed. But if you can get +100 for 45 at some point this week, it’s worth playing that number as well.

The Bengals opened as 2.5-point favorites, and that is where the spread has remained at three of the five major sportsbooks. Only DraftKings and Caesars are currently offering Bengals -3. At this time, 63% of wagers back the Bengals to cover, so it seems like it is just a matter of time before the other three sportsbooks move the number.
As for the total, the number opened at 44.5, and it has either stayed there or gone up at every major sportsbook. A total of 54% of wagers are on the Over, which seems like an insignificant percentage. However, it’s enough that Caesars has moved this total all the way to 45.5. We expect this to continue to rise as kickoff approaches.
