Jaguars vs. Steelers NFL Player Props, Odds: Picks & Predictions

The Jacksonville Jaguars, in excellent form, travel to Acrisure Stadium to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, and in one of our top Jaguars vs. Steelers NFL player prop bets for Week 8, the spotlight is on Jacksonville wide receiver Christian Kirk. We always shop for the best NFL odds from across our best NFL prop betting sites when making our NFL picks.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are one of the hottest teams in the NFL with a four-game winning streak heading into Week 8. Their offense has scored 23 or more points in each of the noted wins, and Jags running back Travis Etienne has a pair of rushing touchdowns in each of the past two games.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have won four of their last five games. The offense averages 293.8 yards per game, but the defense is tied for the second-best turnover margin per game.
To accompany our NFL Week 8 predictions and NFL best bets, here are our best Jaguars vs. Steelers NFL player props for Week 8 (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).
Jaguars vs. Steelers NFL player props: Week 8
Christian Kirk Over 53.5 receiving yards (-115 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Jacksonville wide receiver Christian Kirk is quarterback Trevor Lawrence’s favorite target. This year, Kirk has caught 39 passes for 474 yards and three touchdowns. He is better than wideout Calvin Ridley in all three categories and better than tight end Evan Engram in all categories except receptions.
Since a dreadful Week 1 performance, Kirk has put together five receiving performances of 54 yards or greater. He has topped 75 receiving yards four times and 100 yards once.
While the Steelers’ defensive unit has been able to keep teams off of the scoreboard, they struggle to cover wide receivers. They’re allowing over 250 passing yards per game, and they have allowed a 100-yard receiver in three of their last four contests. Kirk is the clear number one in Jacksonville, which means he should crush his receiving prop number.

Najee Harris Under 41.5 rushing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐
The Jaguars boast the fourth-best rush defense in football. They’re allowing just 80.6 yards per game, and they haven’t allowed a 100-yard rusher in any of their last three games.
Harris has struggled for much of this season, though he has exceeded this total in four of his six games. However, he’s yet to run for 75 yards in a game, and he’s only run the ball more than 14 times just once this season. Therefore, a bad day is much more likely than a breakout one.
Harris averages 3.9 yards per carry this season but just 3.2 yards over his last two games. Plus, running back Jaylen Warren has had at least six carries in his last five games and at least eight in three of his last four. With few rushing opportunities in this game, Harris will have difficulties rushing for more than 42 yards against Jacksonville.

Kenny Pickett Over 216.5 passing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
All the reasons we’re worried about Harris are the same reasons we like Pickett. The Jaguars' defense is one you need to throw on to move the ball down the field. They’re allowing 284.0 passing yards per game, and three consecutive quarterbacks have thrown for over 300 yards against them.
Pickett’s numbers haven’t been great this season, but they have been consistent. He has thrown for 222-235 yards in five of his six starts. Wide receiver Diontae Johnson missed practice Thursday after finally returning to the field after an extended absence in Week 7. This is worrying, but even if Johnson doesn’t suit up, Pickett still has George Pickens.
The Jaguars are a defense that quarterbacks perform above their average against. That won’t change this week, no matter what Pickett’s wide receiving corps looks like.
