Jaguars vs. Saints NFL Player Props, Odds - TNF Prop Bets

We're making our best Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New Orleans Saints NFL player props based on the best TNF odds as two south division teams kick off Week 7.
Despite a 4-2 record, the Jacksonville Jaguars face the challenge of dealing with multiple key injuries as they enter Week 7 as leaders of the AFC South. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence sustained a knee injury in the late stages of Week 6. Although he has participated in limited practices, his mobility may be restricted. He is officially listed as questionable for Thursday Night Football but is pushing to play.
In contrast, the New Orleans Saints and two other NFC South teams have each secured three wins in the first six weeks of the season. They are all vying for a fourth victory to claim the top spot in the division, and the Saints can claim that position with a win on Thursday Night Football. The Atlanta Falcons (3-3) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2) will face off against each other on Sunday.
To accompany our Jaguars vs. Saints prediction, here are our best Jaguars vs. Saints NFL player props for Thursday Night Football, and don't miss our Jaguars-Saints parlay (NFL odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).
Jaguars vs. Saints NFL player props: Thursday Night Football
Jaguars first scoring play is a touchdown (-160 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Jags enter Thursday night averaging three touchdowns per game on the road this season which makes up a majority of their 26.3 points per game away from Jacksonville. They have marched into the end zone to put their first points on the board in all but one of their six games this season.
To their credit, the Saints defense has done well to limit the damage on their opponents' first scoring drives. Only the Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans have crossed the goal line for their first score this season against New Orleans.
However, defensive end Cameron Jordan, linebacker Demario Davis, and safety Tyrann Mathieu all appear on the injury report this week. If any or all of them miss this game, the Jaguars’ road to the end zone will be a lot less cluttered.

Foye Oluokun Over 10.5 total tackles (+105 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Oluokun’s 67 total tackles leads the Jaguars this season. This number represents the third most tackles in the league. In fact, he has nearly twice as many tackles as safety Rayshawn Jenkins who ranks second on the Jags with 35 combined tackles this year. The Jacksonville linebacker has cashed the Over on this mark in three of his six games during his 2023 campaign.
Now, he faces a Saints offense that has averaged 28 rushing attempts per game this season. On top of that, QB Derek Carr has been keeping the ball close to the line of scrimmage averaging just 6.5 yards per pass thrown this season. Overall, New Orleans is averaging just 4.6 yards per play offensively which will give Oluokun ample opportunity to eclipse this mark.

Travis Etienne Under 62.5 rushing yards (-115 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Despite averaging 75.2 rushing yards per game this season, Etienne has reached or surpassed the 63-yard mark in only half of his six games. Last week, he gained just 55 yards on his 18 carries against the Indianapolis Colts. Last season, he had nine games in which he failed to cross this threshold.
Even if the game script calls for a few more touches to protect his quarterback, Etienne is up against the ninth-best rush defense in terms of yards per game. The Saints are giving up just 96.3 rushing yards per game with just 69 yards per game to the running back position over their first five games. Only Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry hit the Over on this prop with his 63-yard performance against the Saints in Week 1.
