Teaser picks NFL Week 6

Eagles -6.5 to -0.5

I’m projecting this as a letdown spot for the New York Jets following their 31-21 road win over the Denver Broncos. The Eagles are a nightmare matchup with top-tier offensive and defensive lines, and they head to MetLife Stadium without any serious injuries. 

The Philadelphia offense is loaded with playmakers, and quarterback Jalen Hurts is up to a 19-1 regular-season record. With New York QB Zach Wilson under pressure all afternoon, I’m not expecting him to lead the Jets to enough points to keep pace with Philly.

Rams -7 to -1

The jury is definitely still out on exactly how good the Rams are given the low preseason expectations. I still think they’re being a bit overrated for the Week 1 road win over the Seattle Seahawks and then sneaking out an overtime victory against the Indianapolis Colts after blowing a 23-point, second-half lead in Week 4.

Still, L.A. is better than the Arizona Cardinals on both sides of the ball, and, in particular, I’m expecting Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford to throw it all over the yard. Arizona runs out a basement-dwelling statistical defense, and I don’t think the Cards will be able to consistently take advantage of the susceptible LA offensive line.

While DraftKings, Caesars, and bet365 all charge the same vig for their teasers, DraftKings has Philadelphia priced at -6.5 as of Thursday afternoon, so we're landing a half-point advantage placing this wager there. Caesars and bet365 both have the Eagles listed at -7.

FanDuel and BetMGM each charge a higher vig for their teasers, so you'll want to avoid those two shops.
