Today's Super Bowl odds: Jan. 28

Who is favored to win the Super Bowl?

The Chiefs are the Super Bowl odds favorites. They are favored by 1.5 points across our best sportsbooks, with four of five offering the standard -110 juice. FanDuel offers the worst price (-115).

Caesars and bet365 opened with the Chiefs at -2 but quickly fell in line with the others, decreasing to -1.5 on Monday.

Latest Super Bowl odds movement

FanDuel's odds saw the most movement where the moneyline is concerned, with the Chiefs' odds shortening from -132 to -124 overnight and the Eagles' odds lengthening from +106 to +112.

Meanwhile, our other four best NFL betting sites had identical line movement, with their moneyline odds going from -125 to -130 for the Chiefs and +105 to +110 for the Eagles.

That aligns with the early action at BetMGM, which is pouring in on the defending champions, at least where the spread is concerned:

Super Bowl news

There were a few tidbits to report from Monday, and a couple of stats to toss into the Super Bowl cauldron:

  • Patrick Mahomes will appear in his fifth Super Bowl, more than 19 NFL teams
  • It's the fifth time a rematch between coaches will occur in the Big Game, and the coach who won the first game is 4-0 in the second. Andy Reid beat Nick Sirianni two years ago
  • Saquon Barkley's Super Bowl MVP odds jumped from +400 to +240 at BetMGM after the NFC Championship
  • Unsurprisingly, Barkley is the most bet player at BetMGM to hit pay dirt
