After losing three of their first four games, the New York Jets have bounced back, winning two straight to reach a .500 record for the season. The Jets pulled off a surprising 20-14 victory against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6 before last week's bye. Their last two losses were by a combined eight points.

The New York Giants snapped a four-game losing skid by defeating the Washington Commanders 14-7 last week. Still, the G-Men are last in the NFC East with a 2-5 record while averaging a league-low 12.1 points per game.

The only thing preventing this from being a five-star play is that the offenses could put their defenses in bad positions throughout the game. The Giants have the worst-scoring offense in football, averaging just 12.1 points per game and scoring more than 20 points just once. They'll be without starting quarterback Daniel Jones again this week as they try to navigate a Jets defense that allows just 19.8 points per game.

The Jets have held five of their six opponents to 23 points or fewer this season. They’re averaging 2.2 takeaways per game, which could be a massive advantage against a team averaging 1.4 giveaways per contest.

The Jets have quietly scored at least 20 points in three consecutive games, but the Giants' defense has been excellent over the past two weeks against much better offenses than the Jets. That being said, even if the Giants give up 20 points in this game, we don’t see how they score more than 14 of their own.
