Surely, the Dallas Cowboys can muster an improved performance against the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football after a pair of brutal home displays.

Throwing home comforts out the window may be just the tonic for the Cowboys, who travel to MetLife Stadium as the Thursday Night Football odds favorites at our best NFL betting sites. The Cowboys also sit as a long shot in the Super Bowl odds.

Dallas was excellent in its only other road contest, dismantling the Cleveland Browns 33-17 in Week 1.

The Cowboys can't run from their problems, as their inability to stop the run and a lackluster ground attack have been contributing to much of what ails them through three weeks.

Our Cowboys vs. Giants TNF prop bets focus on those glaring issues.

Before you lock in your picks, dive into our Cowboys vs. Giants prediction.

Devin Singletary Over 14.5 carries (+106)

Devin Singletary has eclipsed the 15-carry threshold in two of three games. He logged only 10 carries against the Minnesota Vikings in the season opener, which makes sense considering Brian Flores' unit, according to PFF, is the best against the run.

Dallas has allowed 5.4 yards per carry (tied for the most) and 185.7 per contest (the most). They're trotting out the worst-ranked run defense after allowing 464 rushing yards in the last two contests against the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens.

Rest assured, Mike Zimmer will overcompensate to stop the bleeding, but that won't prevent the Giants from testing that unit often from the onset.

His backfield mate is also a target of Esten McLaren in his anytime touchdown scorer predictions

Our best sports betting apps all offer 14.5 carries as the benchmark, but FanDuel provides the best price. DraftKings at +105 is the only other book featuring plus-money odds.

A winning $10 bet will profit $10.60.

Meanwhile, Brenden Schaeffer anticipates a major contribution in the opposing backfield as part of his Cowboys vs. Giants TNF parlay.

Jake Ferguson Over 40.5 receiving yards (-110)

Jake Ferguson re-entered the fray against the Ravens in Week 3 after missing the Week 2 contest against the Saints. He made an emphatic impression, catching six passes for 95 yards. Dak Prescott targeted him 11 times in the defeat.

While the Ravens are one of the worst at defending opposing tight ends, the Giants aren't leaps and bounds better. They allow 46 yards per game against tight ends while ranking 21st.

Ferguson should be one of the most relied-upon targets in Prescott's offense, and he'll want to continue the momentum the pair built in Dallas last week.

FanDuel is posting a higher total of 42.5 yards than the 40.5 offered at most of our best sports betting sites, including bet365. BetMGM and Caesars offer 40.5 yards at -133 and -119, respectively, while bet365 features the best price at -110. That's even better than FanDuel's -113 despite the book's additional 2.5 yards.

A winning $10 bet will lead to $9.09 in profit as art of our NFL Week 4 predictions

Best odds: -110 via bet365 | Implied probability: 53.05%

Daniel Jones Under 32.5 rushing yards (-110)

Daniel Jones' running ability didn't petrify opposing defenses even before his ACL injury.

So, his post-surgery mobility shouldn't strike fear into the heart of even the most poor run defenses.

Despite the unit's glaring issues, the Cowboys' run defense should be able to contain Jones and prevent him from eclipsing the 33-yard threshold.

Jones ran for 32 yards in Week 2 against the Washington Commanders, his highest total through three games. He's averaging 22.3 rushing yards per game, hitting the Under in each contest.

Zimmer's defense has already been humiliated in the last two games. But allowing Jones to break free from the pocket and rack up yards on the ground would represent an even more abject failure.

bet365 offers the best price on this prop, and a $10 bet will profit you $9.09 if it hits.

Andrew Brennan is also taking the Under on many of the props tied to the opposing quarterback in his Dak Prescott TNF player prop bets.
