Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier ran the ball more than Robinson in Week 5. It was the first time he received more carries than Robinson since Week 1 of this season. Robinson has only five more carries than Allgeier this season, so bettors may be concerned about this split backfield when wagering on the over.
But Robinson has done much more with his rushing opportunities than Allgeier. He averages 5.4 yards per carry, while Allgeier averages just 3.1 rushing yards. Additionally, even while splitting time, Robinson has carried the ball at least 10 times in every game. Based on his average attempts, you’re essentially looking at a floor of 56 rushing yards in this game.
The Commanders have yet to allow a 100-yard rusher this season. Buffalo Bills running back James Cook came close when he ran the ball 15 times for 98 yards. However, they have allowed at least one player on every team they’ve faced to rush for 56 yards or more. Last week, Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert averaged 7.6 yards per carry. Through five weeks, Robinson has caught fewer than four passes only once. Because that performance came last week, the price for his Over prop is very valuable this week.
Most worrying about last week’s performance is that Robinson was targeted only twice all game. Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts received 11 targets, wide receiver Drake London had nine, and tight end Jonnu Smith had seven. Because of last week, Robinson heads into this week behind each of them in season-long targets. However, he’s still tied for the team lead in receptions.
We won’t put too much emphasis on what happened last week. Robinson is a key option for Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder in this offense. To get this price at +100 or better is a gift. To get it at +124 is simply too good to pass up.

Robinson has scored a modest two touchdowns all season, but his first-half anytime touchdown prop is at (-105) or worse at each of the best sports betting apps. There is no real value in taking that bet.
Instead, we will back Robinson to score a touchdown in the first half of this contest. The Commanders have given up 87 first-half points this season, including 27 to the Chicago Bears last Thursday.
