Robinson's NFL journey has been a mixed bag. He has rushed for 213 yards, but 124 of them came in one game. While he has been a threat in the passing attack, he has yet to reach 50 receiving yards in a single game.

In Week 3, Robinson carried the ball 10 times for a career-low 33 yards against the Detroit Lions. This week, he faces a team that is allowing just 84.0 yards per game on the ground.

For all the electric moments Robinson has produced through three weeks, he has not picked up many yards on the ground. He ran for 124 yards against the Green Bay Packers, but he has not topped 60 in either of his other games.

Even though the Falcons love to run the football, Robinson feels like a matchup play at this point in his career. Against the 31st-ranked run defense, he had a great game, then the next week, against the fourth-ranked run defense, he managed just 33 yards.

The Jaguars boast the seventh-best run defense in the league, and they have only allowed one running back to top 60 yards this season. There is the additional fear that the Jaguars, despite their 1-2 record, open up a lead in this game. If they do, Robinson has almost no chance.

Though his running has been inconsistent, when it comes to receiving, Robinson has been reliable. He has at least four catches and 27 yards in each of his games this season.

Last week, Robinson finished with four catches for 27 yards. Three of those grabs and 23 of those yards came in the first half. We don’t understand why the Falcons went away from Robinson in the passing attack in the second half, but we think they will make a more concerted effort to get him the ball this week. On the year, he’s averaging 6.4 yards per reception.

The Jaguars haven’t given up many receiving yards to running backs. However, the Falcons are a different offense. Robinson leads the team in receptions, and he is tied for the team lead in targets. No matter what happens on the field, Robinson will stay involved in the passing game.

After scoring in Week 1, Robinson has not managed to find the end zone since. The Falcons have just three rushing touchdowns on the season, and both of Tyler Allgeier’s scores came in their Week 1 win over the Carolina Panthers.

Though the Jaguars' defense looked excellent against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2, the same cannot be said of their other two performances. Last week, they gave up 37 points to the Houston Texans, and in Week 1, they struggled to keep the Indianapolis Colts off the scoreboard.

The Falcons are going to have red-zone opportunities in this game, and after a bad Week 3, Robinson’s touchdown number is finally at a place where we would take it. Shop around, however.
