Steelers vs. Rams NFL Player Props, Odds: Picks & Predictions

We're looking at our best NFL player props for the Week 7 meeting between the Steelers and Rams.

On Sunday afternoon, the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Los Angeles Rams, and our featured NFL player props for Week 7 revolve around Pittsburgh's running back, Najee Harris. All our NFL picks are based on the NFL odds from our best sports betting apps.

After their Week 6 bye, the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have won three of their last four games, might see the return of wide receiver Diontae Johnson (hamstring) for the first time since Week 1. This potential comeback could boost Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett and may also affect wide receiver George Pickens' performance.

Last week, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp reaffirmed that his hamstring injury is no longer a concern. The Rams wide receiver had seven receptions for 148 yards and a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals. Kupp has exceeded the 100-yard receiving mark in both of his games since returning to action.

Steelers vs. Rams NFL player props: Week 7

Cooper Kupp Over 89.5 receiving yards (-117 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Until Kupp fails to record 100 yards receiving in a game, we will take his Over every week. In his first two games of the season, he has 15 catches for 266 yards and one touchdown. Matthew Stafford has targeted him 21 times, clearly establishing that Kupp is his favorite target.

The Steelers’ pass defense is usually difficult for opposing quarterbacks to conquer, but that’s not been the case this season. The Steelers are allowing 265.4 passing yards per game. With running back Kyren Williams out for the Rams, they must turn to a backfield of inexperienced running backs. We expect Rams head coach Sean McVay’s game plan to feature a lot of passes, of which Kupp will be the primary target.

Puka Nacua Over 4.5 receptions (-145 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Short passes to Nacua are going to serve as the Rams run game this week. Last week, Nacua caught fewer than five passes in a game for the first time in his brief career. His four catches were for just 26 yards.

However, Nacua was targeted seven times in that game, even though the Rams were winning the entire second half and Kupp was stealing a lot of targets from his Rams teammates. Williams ran the ball 20 times for 158 yards, and Nacua was still just one catch short of five receptions.

This is a very expensive play, but we are confident. If you can find an alt-line for a price closer to -110, then we recommend doing that as long as the number is 5.5 or lower.

Najee Harris Under 49.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

FanDuel seems to be operating under the assumption that Johnson is going to play. They are the only sportsbooks with a receiving yards prop listed for him. Additionally, while other sportsbooks are shying away from posting any Steelers’ player props, FanDuel is the only major sportsbook with a rushing yards total prop listed for Harris.

Get in on this Under before other bettors realize that Johnson will likely play. Harris has had an incredibly hard time running the football this season. While he is averaging 3.9 yards per carry, he has yet to rush for 75 or more yards in a game. Harris has topped 50 yards twice this season, and both games came without Johnson on the field.

The Rams don’t have a great rushing defense, but Harris and the Steelers haven’t been able to run the football against anyone. With Pittsburgh's full receiving corps intact, we expect to see Pickett throwing the ball often in this one. Maybe that will open up running lanes for Harris. But with running back Jaylen Warren stealing some carries, we don’t have confidence in Harris going Over 50 rushing yards against anyone.
