Here are the leading Garrett Wilson player props for the Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets clash based on the best NFL odds

Despite four different quarterbacks starting games for the Jets in 2022, Garrett Wilson still managed to haul in 83 balls for 1,103 yards. This season, Aaron Rodgers takes over under center, which seems guaranteed to be a good thing for the Jets’ No. 1 target.

What should we expect from Wilson in the season opener when making our Bills vs. Jets predictions?

Garrett Wilson Under 5.5 receptions (+110 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Wilson is going to be the go-to receiver in this offense in 2023. However, unless he proves to be the next Davante Adams, I don’t think that he's going to see as many targets in his first season with Rodgers. Rodgers spreads the ball around to his receivers, and this offense has plenty of options for him.

Wilson caught at least six balls in both games against the Bills in 2022, but he was playing with inferior quarterbacks. Overall, Wilson reeled five or fewer passes in 10 games last campaign.

This is a bit of a risk, but the price is worth it. After all, when Rodgers found a favorite target in Christian Watson last season, the young receiver caught more than five balls only once.

Garrett Wilson Over 68.5 receiving yards (-115 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐

In 2022, Wilson averaged 13.3 yards per reception, so as long as he hauls in four or five balls in this game, he is going to have a chance to hit this Over. With Rodgers under center, the offense is going to be much more open than it was a year ago. This will bode well for Wilson, who will be used more on deeper passing routes than he was last season.

Additionally, Wilson seems to have this Bills defense figured out. He went for 92 yards in his first game against them and 78 in his second. While his yards per reception in each game were 13 or lower, that was with a completely different offense.

Garrett Wilson +7.5 receiving yards vs. Stefon Diggs (-115 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

This bet is more about Diggs than Wilson. Last season, Diggs caught eight passes for 130 yards in his two games against the Jets. While he is a phenomenal wide receiver, he is also going to be facing Sauce Gardner most of the night, which doesn’t bode well for his chances of having a huge game.

Additionally, Allen has other weapons on this offense. If Diggs is struggling to get open, Allen isn’t going to force throws when he has other receivers and check-downs to go to.

In his second game against the Jets last season, Diggs had just 37 yards. He should have a better game tonight, but Wilson may end the Week 1 contest with more yards strictly because of matchups.
