Russell Wilson takes over as quarterback as the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare to battle the New York Jets.

Davante Adams was traded to the Jets earlier this week, and because of his presence, the latest Sunday Night Football odds show the Jets as road favorites over the 4-2 Steelers.

Is Adams set to have a huge night, or will he barely impact our best Jets vs. Steelers SNF prop bets?

Meanwhile, the Steelers will turn to Wilson as he replaces Justin Fields. The Steelers rank 26th in total yards and 28th in passing yards this season. Will they start improving under Wilson?

Davante Adams Over 4.5 receptions (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thanks to a hamstring injury, Adams hasn’t played since Sept. 22. Based on recent practice footage, he’s looked just fine since joining the Jets. As long as his injury doesn’t keep him off the field, the Jets will make a concerted effort to get him the ball.

Rodgers has thrown at least 35 passes and competed at least 23 in each of his last four games. The Steelers are allowing 20.8 completions per game this season.

Adams won’t know the playbook perfectly, but his past work with Rodgers will offset that hindrance in this juicy matchup.

Adams managed at least four catches in each of his three games with the Las Vegas Raiders. Getting this at +100 is excellent, especially when FanDuel and DraftKings ask -105 or more, implying a greater than 50% chance that Adams hits this Over.

Russell Wilson Under 181.5 passing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wilson makes his Steelers’ debut against one of the best pass defenses in football. Entering Week 7, the Jets allow just 148.8 passing yards per game. With Fields under center, the Steelers are averaging just 166.8 passing yards per game. It’s unlikely that the game plan changes much with Wilson under center.

Last season, while with the Denver Broncos, Wilson threw for more than 181.5 passing yards 11 times. Against this same Jets’ defense, he threw for 196. But I expect him to struggle in his first game back as he gets used to a new offense and the speed of a real game.

BetMGM has the total set at 176.5, the lowest of any sportsbook. The price for the Under is -115. Caesars is asking -128 for Under 179.5. Since FanDuel is offering the highest total for a better price than most competitors, it’s the most valuable place to play.

Garrett Wilson to score a touchdown (+210) ⭐⭐⭐

All eyes are on Adams entering Sunday night, but what about the Jets’ leading receiver? Garrett Wilson has caught three touchdown passes this season, including one in back-to-back games. He will see a decrease in target share, but it won’t be significant immediately.

The Steelers are allowing 1.2 passing touchdowns per game this season. It’s one of the better numbers in the league, but it still shows that there are opportunities to score on them through the air.

Right now, the prices for this prop range from +150 to +210. +150 implies a 40% chance that Wilson scores. That’s a massive difference compared to the 32.26% chance the +210 implies. Take the high-value number from FanDuel before it gets below +200.
