Whether you've had a strong NFL Sunday from a betting standpoint and are looking for one final victory cherry, or you see the final game of the day as an opportunity for wagering redemption, the Sunday Night Football tilt is a popular one – particularly among our best NFL betting sites.

Sunday Night Football betting tips

Get an early start

The Sunday Night Football game is one of the most popular betting events of the week – which means plenty of action, and line movement to match. Start monitoring the lines and totals as soon as they become available; if they move in a favorable direction, you can wait. If you see movement away from your position, consider pulling the trigger earlier.

Embrace in-game betting

While you might struggle to find value in the most popular markets for any marquee prime-time NFL game, you're sure to unearth some worthwhile plays once the game starts. Live betting might not be your thing when there are a handful of games going on at the same time, but Sunday Night Football is the perfect time to lay into some live action via our best live betting sites.

Be wary of winter weather

Night games can get downright bone-chilling – and there are two games in particular that NFL bettors should monitor closely. Week 13's Chiefs-Packers tilt at Lambeau Field and the Packers-Ravens matchup on New Year's even in Baltimore could be f-f-frigid. Check out our guide on how to bet on the NFL for suggestions on how to approach betting on cold-weather games.
