Wednesday's best Super Bowl pick
Taylor Swift Over 6.5 times shown on broadcast
Best odds: -125 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 55.56%
Note: Taylor Swift prop bets are available only at FanDuel Canada.
One of the great things for new bettors when the Super Bowl rolls around is that many of our best NFL betting sites offer boosts to events that are highly likely to happen. Sometimes, they just offer first bet offer returns (you'll sometimes find boosts for Team X to record 1-plus yards during the game, or something similar to that).
Now, FanDuel isn't promoting this as such, but this is free money.
I'm not sure who set this line, but they apparently didn't watch last year's Super Bowl, during which Taylor Swift was featured on the broadcast - from kickoff until the end of the game, as FanDuel stipulates - anywhere from 11 to 13 times (there are some discrepancies online in terms of if certain instances were broken up or all in one shot).
Even if you go with the low number, that crushes this listed total. And with our best Super Bowl betting sites pricing this game as a closely contested affair and Travis Kelce likely to play at least some role in the outcome, I absolutely had to hit the button on this Over.
If you want to bet into plus-money odds on a Swift-related bet, FanDuel offers a market based on whether she'll be shown during the halftime show. "Yes" is trading at +140, and we saw just this past weekend that Swift enjoys dancing to Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us."
Chiefs vs. Eagles spread prediction
Chiefs to cover the spread -1

Not much has changed since I backed the Chiefs to cover last week, but the most important thing is to remember to make this bet vs. taking them on the moneyline if you think the Chiefs will win.
The worst case scenario on a Kansas City victory with this spread now set at -1 is that the Chiefs win by 1 and it's a push. A bit of a waste of time, but no money lost.
Meanwhile, a winning $10 wager at these odds returns $9.09 in profit. The best moneyline odds return slightly less at $8.70. However, if you're someone who has access to only bet365, its -120 moneyline odds cost you 70 cents on every $10 you wager.
Our best Super Bowl betting sites know that the majority of people betting on the result of this game are less experienced and, therefore, will just bet on which team they think will win. So even if they all move the spread to 1 point, the moneyline odds will be shorter, because that's the market newer bettors will gravitate toward.
Who will win the Super Bowl?
I'm still backing the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl.
It isn't complicated: they remain the best team in the NFL when it comes to playoff football. He may not put together MVP-caliber seasons, but Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in the league. He may never be in the Coach of the Year conversation, but Andy Reid is still among the most elite head coaches in football.
Kansas City is the more complete team with the better coaching staff, and they've been talking about this three-peat since last year's celebration. It's inevitable.
Today's Super Bowl odds
Who is favored to win the Super Bowl?
Chiefs (-115 via Caesars)
This game is more or less a tossup based on the moneyline odds. Even though the Chiefs are trading as the favorites, even the shortest odds of -120 give them just a 54.55% implied probability that they'll win.
Additionally, all but one of our best sports betting sites have moved the Eagles to even or minus money to win the game outright.
