Anytime Touchdown Scorer Predictions & Picks for TNF: Texans vs. Jets

Schultz's best odds to score on Thursday are +340 at Caesars, according to our NFL player prop odds tool. Those odds would return an extra $5 in profit on a winning $10 bet compared to the +290 odds from DraftKings. According to our odds converter, the lower DraftKings odds represent an implied win probability of 25.64%.
Schultz is yet to score this season after finding the end zone five times in his debut campaign with Houston last year. He's caught 23 of 38 targets through eight weeks and hasn't played less than 66% of the snaps in any given week.
I like him to score with what's likely to be an increased workload against a Jets defense allowing 7.19 yards per target and a 76.6% catch rate to tight ends.

Allen played 31% of the snaps in last week's Jets loss following a significant two-week dip in playing time. He returned the favor by racking up 32 yards from scrimmage and his third touchdown of the season.
The Texans allow 4.14 yards per carry and 5.29 yards per target (on a 76.5% catch rate) to running backs. Allen has scored both ways in his rookie season while averaging a modest 4.5 yards per touch.
Mike Spector expects a big night for the Jets' passing game with his Aaron Rodgers TNF player prop bets. Allen can either be a part of that production or he'll be leaned on via the ground game to take some pressure off of New York's struggling aerial attack.
