Rodon is the first pitcher in franchise history to have at least 70 strikeouts and nine or fewer runs allowed over any nine-game span, which he achieved while posting a 1.33 ERA.

Rodon has eight-plus strikeouts in three consecutive starts, good for an 11.7 K/9. He induced 13 whiffs and a 32% CSW% against a Guardians team that makes contact often.

Judge entered yesterday leading the majors with a .397 batting average, a .495 on-base percentage, .759 slugging, 5.4 fWAR, and a 244 wRC+.

He has not yet homered in six games in June, which is his third-longest home run drought of the season. But he has a great chance to go yard against Hunter Dobbins, who has allowed a home run in four of his previous eight starts.

Dobbins ranks in the bottom third of the league in barrels, and though he ranks in the 60th percentile in ground ball rate, these odds are too good to pass up on a slugger who has gone too long without a dinger.

Devers’ batting average may be higher against left-handed pitchers, but his slugging percentage is 22 points lower than against righties, and I expect him to struggle in the power department against one of the hottest starting pitchers in the league.

With Devers’ total bases prop listed at an O/U of 0.5, I am giving myself more cushion with this hits/runs/RBIs wager in case he hits a single in any at-bat or scores a run after reaching base.
