Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce hasn’t had the start to his season he’d have hoped for, but can he turn things around on Sunday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons?

Our Travis Kelce SNF player prop bets are based on our  Sunday Night Football odds and take a look at his uncharacteristic struggles to start the year. Our Chiefs vs. Falcon SNF prop bets expect Kelce to continue to struggle, and we agree.

We've also looked at how Kelce's quarterback will fair with our Patrick Mahomes SNF player props, but as our Chiefs vs. Falcons SNF parlay outlined, he might have a new favorite target.

Be sure to also check out our Chiefs vs. Falcons prediction as part of our NFL Week 3 predictions.

Travis Kelce Under 4.5 receptions (+115) ⭐⭐⭐

It’s hard to believe, but Kelce has only four receptions through two games this season.

The star tight end has been targeted just seven times in that span. However, rookie wideout Xavier Worthy also has seven targets this year, which is eroding Kecle’s workload.

Teams are choosing to run against the Falcons, as Atlanta is allowing the sixth-most rushing yards per game (161.5) in the league. Even without their two leading running backs, I don’t expect the Chiefs to completely abandon their rushing attack.

To their credit, the Falcons have yet to allow a tight end to catch more than four passes this season, holding Pat Freiermuth to four receptions in Week 1 and Dallas Goedert to three catches last week.

Travis Kelce + Kyle Pitts Under 93.5 combined receiving yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kelce’s lack of opportunities has held him to just 39 total receiving yards in two games, which is the worst start to a season in his career.

Surprisingly, this trend extends to his last three regular-season games last year, in which he had games of 28, 44, and 18 receiving yards. This week, he faces an Atlanta defense that is allowing an average of 49 receiving yards per game to opposing tight ends.

Pitts hasn’t fared any better this season, accumulating only 48 yards through the air in his two games. His last two seasons have been alarming, averaging 39.2 yards per game last year and 35.6 in 10 games the year prior.

The Atlanta tight end gained 50 or more yards in only four games last season. He combined for 32 yards in his final two games of the regular season.

Travis Kelce Over 6.5 receiving yards in 1st quarter (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Though he may not be getting many looks, Kelce is making the most of what he is getting, averaging 9.8 yards per catch.

Shockingly, Kelce has yet to even catch a pass in the first quarter this season. However, Mahomes targeted Isiah Pacheco twice in the opening frame last week. With Pacheco out this week, I can see Kelce getting one of those early looks instead.

Last week, the Philadelphia Eagles opened the game with a 15-yard completion to their backup tight end Grant Calcaterra against this Atlanta defense.

This is a great way to cash in early, as your $10 wager will put $9.09 back in your pocket.
