The Cleveland Browns are hosting the Baltimore Ravens, and we're here with our top predictions for the Ravens vs. Browns matchup, based on the best NFL odds from our best sports betting sites.

In Week 3, the Baltimore Ravens, who were 8.5-point home favorites, faced a setback against Gardner Minshew and the Indianapolis Colts, losing 22-19 in overtime. Despite the game going into overtime, the Ravens offense only managed 364 total yards.

On the flip side, the Cleveland Browns secured a convincing victory against the Tennessee Titans, improving their season record to 2-1. The Browns dominated the Titans 27-3 and have allowed only one touchdown in the 2023 season.

There will be even more pressure on the Browns' defense to dominate the game in Week 4, as the Browns will be without starting quarterback Deshaun Watson against the Ravens. Rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson from UCLA will get the start in his place.

Here is our best Ravens vs. Browns prediction and NFL picks (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Ravens vs. Browns prediction

Browns -2.5 (-110 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Editor's note: Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is out with an injury and Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start

There are two things preventing the Browns from being favored by more. First, Cleveland lost in Week 2 to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Second, the Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson can put up explosive weeks. However, when you look at these two teams and consider the game is in Cleveland, it’s clear the Browns are a steal at this spread as part of our NFL predictions for Week 4.

The Browns’ defense may be the NFL's most underrated unit. It allows only 188 total yards per game, including just 52 rushing. In Cleveland's single loss this season, its offense turned the ball over four times, two of which resulted in defensive touchdowns.

Last week, Browns QB Deshaun Watson played his best game of the year, throwing for 289 yards and two TDs, and only six incompletions. If he takes care of the ball in this contest, then it's the defense’s responsibility to slow down Jackson and the Ravens.

The Ravens’ offense struggled this season. In Week 1, it managed just 265 yards against the Houston Texans, and Jackson threw for only 202 yards in Week 3. In Week 2, Baltimore did manage over 400 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals, but the Browns’ D is significantly better than Cincy's.  With the way this secondary plays, it’s hard to imagine Jackson having much success. And the run defense can stop the Ravens from doing what they really want to do.

FanDuel (-110)

DraftKingsFanDuelBetMGMCaesarsbet365
-2.5-2.5-2.5-2.5-2.5
-112-110-120-115-110

While every one of our best sportsbooks is offering this spread at 2.5, FanDuel and bet365 are the only two books without an inflated price. BetMGM looks ready to move the line to 3, and while we think the Browns will win this game, Watson could make a few mistakes that keep it close. Get in at 2.5 for a normal price rather than hoping for +100 or -105 for -3.

Ravens vs. Browns odds analysis

The Ravens opened as 1.5-point favorites, but after the way these two teams looked in Week 3, the Browns are now favored by 2.5 at all of our best live betting sites. There hasn’t been much action on this spread, so we don’t know what the public thinks or where this line is going. Get in sooner rather than later. If bettors realize just how good the Browns are, this spread could definitely move to the key number.

The total opened at 40.5, and hasn't moved. More than 56% of bettors back the Under even though it’s one of the lowest totals of the week. We don’t see a scenario where this total goes up, so if you’re on the Under, the best time to get in is now.
