Pete Carroll and Geno Smith enjoy a homecoming of sorts tonight at Lumen Field, though my Raiders vs. Seahawks prediction expects the hosts to ruin the warm welcome for the former Seattle icons.

The Raiders are 5.5-point betting favorites to beat the Seahawks across the best NFL betting sites in the final preseason game tonight, which kicks off at 10 p.m. ET (NFL Network). We're taking the points on the home underdogs as our Raiders vs. Seahawks best bet to wrap up our NFL preseason predictions and odds today.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald has no intention of playing any starters, while Carroll - despite not guaranteeing it - is expected to give first-team players some minutes. While it hasn't been confirmed, former Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith could see some action.

If he and the rest of the starters play, they won't stick around more than a drive or two.

After Smith is finished with his almost ceremonial cameo, Aidan O'Connell will face Drew Lock. Neither gives their team a decisive advantage, with nearly nothing to choose between the established backups.

If the Seahawks can survive the potential early storm, they should be able to keep it close enough to cover. Third-string quarterbacks and rookies, Jalen Milroe and Cam Miller, are expected to get some reps.

Milroe was selected 92nd overall by the Seahawks and was, at one point, considered a Heisman Trophy odds contender. Miller, on the other hand, was selected 215th by the Raiders in the sixth round.

You never know how it will pan out in the NFL, but Milroe has the advantage entering their first kick of the NFL can. All things considered, I have faith in the Seahawks keeping things close at home.

This pick is predicated on the Raiders' starters seeing cameos shorter than Bill Murray's in "Zombieland." I believe both head coaches will want to take an extended look at M&M (Milroe and Miller). They could be the future of their respective teams, though Miller might have to pull off a feat similar to Mr. Irrelevant to do so.

While Lock and O'Connell are seasoned enough signal-callers to put up points against backup defenses, I don't think either will play long enough to establish continuity.

DraftKings and FanDuel offer a total of 37.5, while BetMGM and bet365 have it set at 36.5. I'm taking the extra point without suffering a significant drop in value, with BetMGM offering -105 for 36.5.
