Packers vs. Eagles Touchdown Picks & Odds: NFL Wild Card Weekend

A.J. Brown is poised to be a major factor in the Philadelphia Eagles attempting to push aside the Green Bay Packers on Wild Card Weekend.

The Philadelphia Eagles will look to advance to the divisional round while taking down the Green Bay Packers for the second time this season. The Eagles sit fifth in the Super Bowl odds, as does their quarterback Jalen Hurts in the Super Bowl MVP odds.

These two teams combined for 63 points while meeting in Week 1, which means there should be plenty to choose from for our Packers vs. Eagles touchdown picks. The Eagles won the first meeting 34-29, and they’re the 5-point favorites ahead of Sunday’s 4:30 p.m. ET (FOX) game at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles averaged 3.2 touchdowns per game this season, tied for seventh leaguewide. The Packers were right behind them, averaging 3.1 per contest. Who will find the end zone in today’s game?

Best Packers vs. Eagles touchdown props

Tucker Kraft first touchdown scorer ⭐⭐

Best odds: +1600 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 5.88%

Most will probably select an Eagles player to score first in this game, but the Packers have been the faster starting team this season.

The Packers are averaging 13.6 points in the first half of their games, while the Eagles are averaging just 12.4. The gap widens even more when you break it down by quarter, as the Packers are averaging 6.4 points in the first quarter, and the Eagles are averaging just 3.6.

While Josh Jacobs is the leading touchdown scorer for the Packers, the Eagles allowed just 0.5 rushing touchdowns per game this season. That’s why I’m going to back Kraft instead.

Kraft led the Packers with seven touchdown receptions, and while the Eagles are still good at keeping teams out of the end zone through the air, they allowed 1.3 passing touchdowns per game.

Our NFL playoff bracket predictions expect Kraft to factor into an upset win.

Jalen Hurts anytime touchdown scorer ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +100 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 50.00%

Hurts has been cleared to play this week, and although there will be some concern about him suffering another concussion, the Eagles are still going to run the Brotherly Shove if given the opportunity. After all, that play isn’t what led to Hurts' injury in Week 16 against the Washington Commanders.

The signal-caller has recorded 14 rushing touchdowns this season, and he scored in 10 of his 15 games. This prop being priced at +100 through DraftKings feels like an overreaction to his injury. The price is incredibly valuable, especially when you see that sportsbooks like Caesars are asking -135 for one of your NFL Wild Card Weekend predictions.

The Packers allowed 0.8 rushing touchdowns per game this season, and no team scored on the ground against them over the last three weeks. Still, most defensive stats can be thrown out when the Eagles run an unstoppable play.

A.J. Brown anytime touchdown scorer ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +150 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 40.00%

Though Brown only scored seven touchdowns this season, he finished the year with a TD in his last three contests. He also managed to find paydirt in more than half of his 13 games.

Brown burned the Packers’ defense for a 67-yard touchdown in Week 1. The Packers’ unit has emerged as one of the best at keeping opposing receivers out of the end zone since that outing. It finished the regular season allowing just 1.4 passing touchdowns per game, which was tied for ninth-best leaguewide.

But Brown has been a matchup nightmare for many teams this season. In what should be a pretty high-scoring game, getting the Eagles’ top receiver to score at +150 is too good to pass up. Especially when some of our other best sports betting sites are asking +120.
