Snowy and windy conditions are expected to impact Sunday night’s 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC/Peacock) game at Highmark Stadium. While the weather could certainly impact the best Josh Allen SNF player prop bets and our 49ers vs. Bills prediction, the latest Sunday Night Football odds have the Bills favored by six and still expect Allen to have a solid game.

In my best 49ers vs. Bills SNF prop bets, Allen to score a touchdown was one of my best plays. Unfortunately, the price has dropped significantly from the +145 that Caesars was offering, and now the best price available is +120 at DraftKings.

However, this remains one of the best plays of the game, because of how many rushing touchdowns the 49ers have allowed this season. They’re allowing 1.5 per game, which is tied for third-most in the league, and they’re allowing 2.0 per game over their last three.

With terrible field conditions and heavy winds expected for this game, the Bills may need to rely on their run game more than usual. But even if they don’t, Allen has still scored in back-to-back games and in four contests this season.

Allen has carried the ball at least eight times in each of his last two games. Against the Kansas City Chiefs in his last game, he ran the ball 12 times for 55 yards and a touchdown. He’s now run the ball at least eight times in four games this season, and he’s attempted at least seven rushes in three of his last four.

The 49ers are allowing 26.3 rushing attempts per game. Last week, they gave up 42 to the Green Bay Packers. Quarterback Jordan Love was responsible for only one of those rushes, but he’s not much of a runner.

Allen is, and considering the 49ers are middle of the league when it comes to yards allowed per rush, I expect him to see running lanes and take off when the wind could impact his throws.

BetMGM is seeing something none of our other best sports betting sites is, as they don’t seem to be taking the weather into account. While bet365 and FanDuel have this total set at 219.5 and DraftKings and Caesars have it set at 222.5, BetMGM is offering 228.5. At this number, the Under is a great play for many reasons.

First, the 49ers are giving up fewer than 200 passing yards per game. Second, the weather is almost certainly going to impact some of Allen’s deeper throws, as winds are expected to be north of 30 mph.

While Allen has thrown for at least 235 yards in five consecutive games, he does have four games below this total this season. Against a solid defense in tricky weather conditions, I’ll back him to struggle like he did early in the season.
