Ja'Marr Chase SNF Player Prop Bets: Touchdown Picks & Odds

Last Updated: November 17, 2024 8:47 AM EST • 5 minute read X Social Google News Link

Ja’Marr Chase is looking to repeat his monster game from last week to help the Cincinnati Bengals pull a road upset on Sunday Night Football against the Los Angeles Chargers.
- Chase entered the week as the top-scoring non-quarterback in fantasy football and a legitimate NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds contender
- Last week, Chase turned in a 11/264/3 stat line in a loss to the Baltimore Ravens and our Bengals vs. Chargers prediction expects Cincinnati to bounce back this week
- The Under has cashed in eight of the 10 Sunday Night Football matchups this season and our Bengals vs. Chargers player props think this will be another slow offensive game
The Sunday Night Football odds have the Chargers as 1.5-point home favorites with an O/U of 47.5 to 48 points, and we use that to shape our Ja’Marr Chase SNF player prop bets.
One of the biggest games of our Week 11 NFL predictions, the Bengals and Chargers kickoff from SoFi Stadium at 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC, Peacock).

Ja'Marr Chase touchdown pick vs. Chargers
Ja'Marr Chase to score a second-half touchdown (+260) ⭐⭐
Coming off last week’s three-touchdown performance, Chase has the second-shortest anytime touchdown odds of any Bengals player, and third-shortest odds of any player in the game (behind running backs Chase Brown and J.K. Dobbins). However, I'm looking for a bigger payout than Chase’s -130 anytime touchdown odds.
All three of Chase’s touchdowns (67, 70, and 5 yards) came in the second half last week. That brings his season-long total to six of his 10 touchdowns being scored after halftime.
Oddsmakers agree with Chase’s chances of scoring late, as FanDuel gives him +250 odds to score in the first half, and +260 odds to score after halftime. This is a much better value than what is offered at DraftKings, who have +220 odds for him to score in the second half.
Best odds: +260 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 27.78%

Ja'Marr Chase Over 74.5 receiving yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Since having just 10 catches for 97 yards on 11 targets through the first two weeks, Chase has put up blistering numbers, totaling 56 catches for 884 yards and 10 touchdowns in the last eight.
This is a confident four-star play, despite Chase totaling 72 or fewer receiving yards in four of the previous five games, as the Chargers are banged up in the secondary.
Los Angeles’ top cornerback (Asante Samuel Jr.) is on IR with a shoulder injury, while its No. 2 cornerback (Kristian Fulton) has not practiced or played since Week 8 while nursing a hamstring injury.
Over backers are getting the best number and price at bet365, as FanDuel offers an O/U of 77.5 yards, with -113 odds on either side of the total.
Best odds: -110 via bet365 | Implied probability: 52.38%

Ja'Marr Chase Over 6.5 receptions (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
With his standout performance against the Ravens last week, Chase became the first player in NFL history to have multiple games with 250-plus receiving yards and two or more touchdown catches.
After a game like that, why wouldn’t Joe Burrow continue to force-feed him targets, even with Tee Higgins expected to play?
Chase has averaged nine catches per game over the last three weeks and has not had fewer than seven in any game in that span. Meanwhile, Joe Burrow has attempted 37 or more passes in three straight weeks (and five of the last eight), so there should be plenty of balls to go around.
Chase has an implied probability as high as 57.98% to haul in seven or more passes based on FanDuel’s -138 odds.
Best odds: -115 via bet365 | Implied probability:53.49%
