Joe Burrow is the bonafide front-runner to lead the league in passing yards again - and for good reason. The Bengals will likely be playing from behind often due to a defense that gave up 26 points per game last season. Despite some efforts in the draft and a new defensive coordinator, Cincinnati in no way significantly upgraded a unit that surrendered 348 yards per game.

In short, with a still-vulnerable defense, the Bengals will need to rely heavily on Burrow’s arm to stay competitive and make a playoff push.

Fire up Burrow as one of my best NFL futures bets for this year's passing leader, because at +550, you're still getting tremendous value (betting odds via FanDuel, DraftKings at +500 is the second-best sportsbook to place this NFL future). Not only did he take the No. 1 spot by close to 300 yards from Jared Goff in 2024, but he had 652 pass attempts last year - the next closest was Aaron Rodgers at 584.

If that volume isn't enough to get you going for this bet, how about this: Ja'Marr Chase is back, Tee Higgins is back, and, while I like Chase Brown leading the ground game, he's never owned a workhorse load across an entire season. It's Burrow's time to repeat - take a peak at the NFL MVP odds if you're not convinced.

⭐ Dak Prescott

Best odds: +1000 via BetRivers ($10 bet returns $100)

We all know the story about Dak, he can't win the Big Game, he won't bring the Cowboys a Super Bowl - yadayadayada. One thing I know for sure this season, though, is he will be SLINGING IT, so we're riding him as one of our best bets for this year's passing leader.

He's adding George Pickens to his toolbet, and, while he didn't play a full season last year, we should see some positive regression. Let's not forget that two years ago, when he was fully healthy, he threw for 4,516 yards - which would have placed him third a year ago. I love this value play.

🦁 Jared Goff

Best odds: +1300 ($10 bet returns $130 profit)

Do I really need to get you up to wager on Goff? It's simple - the Lions have the best offense in the league, regardless of Ben Johnson's departure, and their QB is the man who pulls the strings. In 2024, Detroit was second in the league behind only Cincinnati in passing yards per game (266.3), and was second in the league in total offense (415) behind just Baltimore.

Goff is that guy, and he has a full complement of receivers that make him one of our best bets for 2025's passing yards leader. The +1300 betting odds is just icing on the cake.
