Parity and unpredictability have taken over the NFL, but that creates betting opportunities. What are the best NFL parlay picks for Week 9?

When looking at the NFL landscape, there are still plenty of questions to ask. Some teams have yet to turn things around, and others have shocked us as they look to continue to dominate. Who are the true Super Bowl contenders this year?

This week won’t answer that question, but it will give us more data as we progress toward the NFL playoffs. Some divisional races seem to be settled, but others are just heating up.

We’re here to see what can happen as we look for a profitable parlay. Here’s a look at my top early parlay picks for Week 9 of NFL action (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale):

Week 9 NFL Parlay Picks

Packers (-104) vs. Chiefs

While this is a risky bet to put in a parlay, I love the value. The Green Bay Packers have one of the best offensive trios in the NFL, and QB Aaron Rodgers has been electric since the Week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

The Kansas City Chiefs have struggled all year, and QB Patrick Mahomes is still trying to save them with his heroics. He is capable of doing so, but it has led to more turnovers than stunning plays. The Packers will take advantage of this, and it will help them win the game outright as short road underdogs.

Sportsbooks and bettors continue overvaluing the Chiefs despite their struggles this year, and this line has shifted since it opened. There is simply no reason to believe the Chiefs will put it all together until you see them do it this year. Also factoring in Kansas City’s short week, I have the Packers winning straight up on the road.

Vikings vs. Ravens (-230)

This is another valuable moneyline play to toss in our NFL parlay picks, but I have the home team winning this one. The Baltimore Ravens are coming off of a bye, and well-coached teams are always prepared after rest.

The Minnesota Vikings kept things close against the Dallas Cowboys, but I simply don't trust them to stop the potent rushing attack of the Ravens. QB Lamar Jackson has been dynamic all year, and the offense will have new wrinkles after the bye.

Vikings QB Kirk Cousins has had an underrated season so far, but he struggled last week and it won’t be enough to win this one on the road. Minnesota may keep it close, which is why I’m avoiding the spread; however, I don’t see the Vikings finding a way to beat the Ravens, who are 3-1 at home this year.

Texans vs. Dolphins Under 46 (-114)

If you want to trust the Dolphins to fix things at home, the moneyline would be a nice addition to our NFL parlay picks. There are plenty of concerns, however. WR Will Fuller (finger) has been sidelined since Week 4, and the Dolphins seem reluctant to trust QB Tua Tagovailoa.

Still, he has been solid, and the Dolphins have played their best ball with him out there.

Either way, the Dolphins have a turnover-heavy defense. This game will likely be sloppy, but Miami should win a low-scoring game at home. WR DeVante Parker is back and healthy, and Tagovailoa has been able to avoid massive hits despite his inept offensive line. With Houston having such a poor roster, this should be a win for Miami and the Under.
