Best NFL player props this week

Patrick Mahomes Over 13.5 rushing yards (-115 via bet365)

Patrick Mahomes' recovered ACL has looked just fine, and he hasn't shied away from using his legs when needed this season. The Chiefs quarterback has rushed Over this total in four of six games.

I have that trend continuing on Sunday against the Broncos, who allow the seventh-most rushing yards to QBs this season. With wide receiver injuries stalling the Chiefs' passing game, Mahomes will look to scramble multiple times in this massive divisional game for Kansas City.

I bet a full unit on this player prop at -115 odds, but there's value backing Mahomes Over 14.5 rushing yards at -108 odds or better.

⏰️ Set your alarm: Chiefs vs. Broncos

  • Kickoff: 4:25 p.m. ET
  • Venue: Empower Field at Mile High (Denver)
  • How to watch: CBS

Josh Allen Under 1.5 passing touchdowns (+125 via bet365)

Josh Allen's scrambling ability severely limits his ceiling for scores through the air. The league's top rushing QB has finished with fewer than two touchdown passes in three of his last four games.

The NFL MVP odds favorite has rarely reached the end zone via the air versus Baltimore as well. Allen has gone Under this total in six of seven career games against the Ravens.

Given that history, it's incredible value to get this player prop at plus-money odds. I wagered a half-unit at bet365's +125 price tag, but there's value paying down to +105.

⏰️ Set your alarm: Ravens vs. Bills

  • Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
  • Venue: Highmark Stadium (Orchard Park, N.Y.)
  • How to watch: CBS

Jared Goff Over 22.5 completions (-114 via FanDuel)

The blitz-happy Vikings will force Jared Goff to take plenty of short passes, driving up his completions total this Sunday.

The sleeper MVP candidate faces this Minnesota defense twice a year and has had success against the Brian Flores-led unit. He's averaged 24.2 completions against Minnesota since Flores took over the defense. That includes the Lions QB exceeding this total in four of six meetings while completing 74% of his passes.

Whether or not he's that efficient this week, I think the Lions need Goff to have a volume-heavy passing performance at home against one of the league's elite defenses.

⏰️ Set your alarm: Vikings vs. Lions

  • Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
  • Venue: Ford Field (Detroit)
  • How to watch: FOX
