Both teams have injuries. Both teams should be desperate for a win. I’m leaning on the better-coached unit. We aren’t even halfway through the season and Mike McCarthy has guided his team to multiple losses by 25-plus points.
- Dallas allows 143.2 rushing yards per game, fifth-most in the NFL; San Francisco’s run game should take pressure off Brock Purdy and a depleted receiving corps
- The Cowboys have the league’s worst rushing attack (77.2 yards per game) going against the Niners’ 12th-ranked run defense
- Dak Prescott has thrown multiple interceptions in three of his last five games and faces a 49ers defense that has intercepted five passes over their last three
FanDuel offers a more favorable line for 49ers backers at -4.5 rather than the -5 listed at DraftKings. But since we’re willing to take San Francisco up to -6, we would still play the parlay at DraftKings for the associated odds boost.
Deebo Samuel Over 55.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Although Deebo Samuel could have limitations Sunday night after recovering from a gnarly bout with pneumonia, it’s hard to ignore his numbers when Brandon Aiyuk is absent from the lineup.
- Samuel sees a whopping 48% of targets per route run and a 30% target share with Brock Purdy when Aiyuk has been off the field
- Deebo has cleared 55.5 receiving yards in three of his five games, falling narrowly short and finishing with 54 yards in another contest
- Dallas has allowed 149.5 receiving yards per game to the WR position (10th-most in NFL)
Samuel’s line at DraftKings sits at 55.5 yards, which is slightly less favorable than the 54.5-yard line at FanDuel.
George Kittle anytime touchdown scorer (+135) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Already serving as a primary target for Purdy this season, Kittle could find opportunity in the red zone against a Cowboys defense that has allowed tight ends to win in that area of the field.
