Tom Brady has never lost to the Dallas Cowboys in his NFL career. Continuing that streak on Monday is the only way to extend the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' season. Here are our top Cowboys vs. Buccaneers SGP picks based on the best NFL odds.

In order to get to the promised land where the Cowboys (12-5) have long believed this season could go, they have to get through a dangerous first-round matchup on the road against Tom Brady.

The Bucs (8-9) haven’t had the season that they had hoped for, but they are one home win on Monday away from erasing a lot of that angst.

SGP Predictions for Cowboys vs. Buccaneers

Cowboys -2.5 (-125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s impossible to question the ability of the Cowboys when they’re at their best this season. They are fourth in the league in scoring average and sixth in the league in scoring defense. The problem for Dallas this season was consistency, as evidenced by a lackluster performance against Washington in Week 18.

Which version of the team will show up with the season on the line? Despite the narrative surrounding Tom Brady’s unblemished record against the Cowboys in his career, the Bucs are tied for the worst home record against the spread in the NFL this season after going 1-6-1 ATS while vastly underachieving every step of the way.

Both DraftKings and FanDuel list the Cowboys as 2.5-point favorites. The line is juiced to -125 for SGPs on DraftKings. FanDuel has it at -115. If the line pushes to -3, losing the hook drops it down to a three-star play.

Over 45.5 (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Scores have been high across the board throughout Wild Card Weekend, with all five games clearing the total. Though a matchup between two of top-12 scoring defenses in the NFL could certainly produce a lower-scoring result — it happened in the season-opener when the Bucs beat the Cowboys, 19-3 — it’s undeniable that both offenses have explosive players who can impact this game.

Dallas averages 27.5 points per game, but has had outings where Dak Prescott turns the ball over too frequently and the offensive flow gets sapped from the proceedings. Though that’s a risk Monday, I’ve planted my flag on the notion of the Cowboys finding rhythm offensively like they had during an eight-game run from late October to late December where every game finished Over this 45.5 point total.

As long as the total stays below 47, this remains a four-star recommendation. It’s hard to imagine the total dropping to a point that would push the play into five-star territory.

Tony Pollard Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+210) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Trying to guess which Dallas running back could find the end zone in a given game often comes down to how close to the goal line the Cowboys can get before the scoring play occurs. If Dallas gets inside the five-yard line, it’s almost assuredly Ezekiel Elliott territory. Tony Pollard has just six attempts inside the five this season, while Zeke has garnered 16.

Given the smash-mouth tendencies of the Tampa Bay defense, it feels like the goal-to-go touchdowns may need to come through the air for this game more so than usual for the Cowboys. The Bucs have a solid run defense and have only allowed 12 rushing touchdowns on the season.

The vast odds differential is another benefit that pushes me toward Pollard. Whereas Zeke is closer to even odds to find pay dirt, Pollard is an attractive option at +175 to score at DraftKings. His odds are even juicier at FanDuel at +210.
