Cowboys vs. 49ers Prop Picks, Predictions Divisional Round: Playoff Rivals Square Off Once Again
The Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers connect for the second consecutive year in the postseason to cap off the Divisional Round on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium. Read on for our top prop picks for the Cowboys-49ers game based on our best NFL odds.
The 49ers take on the Dallas Cowboys for the ninth time in the postseason since 1970. This ties a record with the San Francisco vs. Green Bay Packers and Dallas vs. L.A. Rams matchups.
The final weekend game features a Dallas offense - one of the NFL's highest scoring - taking on a San Francisco defense that allowed the fewest regular season points per game. It also showcases a 49ers' offense that continues to improve behind rookie sensation quarterback Brock Purdy.
Last season, these teams met in the Wild Card Round. Then San Francisco quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo led his team to a 23-17 victory. Whatever the outcome this year, we're in for an entertaining close to the Divisional Round weekend.
Here are our best Cowboys vs. 49ers Divisional Round Prop picks (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, and Caesars Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Cowboys vs. 49ers Props
Deebo Samuel + CeeDee Lamb Over 129.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Don’t let his 48.6 yards per game regular season average throw you, San Francisco wideout Deebo Samuel is still a looming threat. He proved it last week with a 133-yard performance against the Seattle Seahawks. Samuel fought through injury this year, but still has four games, including the playoffs, with at least half the yards to cash this prop. Dallas held Samuel to just 38 yards in its 2021 playoff matchup.
Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb enters this matchup averaging a regular season 79.9 yards per game. In three out of his last four season matchups, Lamb racked up over 100 receiving yards. He logged 13 games this year with at least 65 yards, including 68 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Lamb faced the 49ers twice in his career. In his first meeting, he caught five passes for 85 yards. In last year’s Wild Card round, he managed just one catch for 21 yards. Despite that, this prop still gets full confidence because both pass catchers are explosive enough to eclipse this mark by themselves.
Each team to score 1+ rushing TDs & 1+ passing TDs (+240) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
San Francisco scored both a passing and rushing touchdown in the regular season's last five matchups. Last week, they did the same in their playoff contest with the Seattle Seahawks. The 49ers had 10 such games in 2022. Dallas allowed both a rushing and passing TD in two of their last three regular season games.
The Cowboys had an 11-game streak where they scored both a rushing and passing TD between Week 6 and Week 17. In the Wild Card Round, Dallas QB Dak Prescott made four passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown in his win against the Tampa Bay Bucs. The 49ers allowed Seahawks QB Geno Smith to throw two touchdowns and running back Kenneth Walker to rush for another.
This matchup features two of the NFL's highest scoring teams who've proven they can score anyway they want. This prop gets a full five-star rating.
Cowboys Over 2.5 total touchdowns (+122) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Dallas scored a total of 55 touchdowns during the 2022 regular season. The Cowboys enjoyed a 10-game stretch where they found the end zone at least three times. They even scored four or more TDs a game. Last week, they blew past this mark, crossing the goal line a total of five times against Tampa.
The 49ers' D finished the regular season giving up the NFL's third fewest touchdowns per game (2.0). That number however, edged up to three over their previous three games, including the playoffs. Seattle got into the end zone three times in their Wild Card matchup, even though the last was a meaningless score.
Caesars gives this number a slight edge, beating out DraftKings' +120 offer. Full confidence stems from the Cowboys' ability to score in bunches.
