Seahawks vs. Titans Prediction, Picks & Best Bets: NFL Preseason Week 2
The only preseason game on the Sunday docket features the Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans, with kickoff from Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., starting at 8 p.m. ET (FOX).
I’m backing Tennessee to cover the spread in my Seahawks vs. Titans prediction, as the 4.5-point home betting favorite will feature its starters for a significant portion of the contest.
The Seahawks’ offensive starters, meanwhile, won’t see the field for the second straight week.

Mike Macdonald is expected to rest his starters for the second straight week.
Things didn’t go well for the backups against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 of the preseason, and I don’t expect things to improve dramatically against the Titans.
Robert Saleh, meanwhile, will likely have Cam Ward and Co. featuring for most of the contest, which should provide just enough of an advantage to cover the spread.
Score Prediction: Titans 20 - 14 Seahawks
🙌 Seahawks vs. Titans best bet: Under 38 (-115)
Ward didn’t dazzle in the preseason opener, completing just five of 12 passes for 57 yards. He will assuredly get more attempts in Sunday’s game, and that should facilitate more than one touchdown.
Not much more, though, as the Seahawks have ample depth on defense, well beyond their first-stringers.
The Seahawks’ second-string offense isn’t scaring anyone. While they should have more success than their seven-point Week 1 output, I’m not holding out for an offensive explosion.

💡 NFL Preseason Betting Strategy
This has all the makings of a Sunday night snooze fest.
The Seahawks are using the preseason to have a meaningful look at fringe and bubble players, and the Titans are underwhelming whichever way you look at it.
Two poor offenses and a solid defense provides enough confidence to back the Under and the team rolling with its starters. However, I’m not confident enough to invest a full unit on the wagers.
