Touchdown props are among the most exciting bets to place prior to kickoff. They are almost always plus-money wagers, which means a bigger payout, making them incredibly popular no matter what team you cheer for.

From anytime touchdown props to the long odds of first touchdown scorer predictions, there's something for everyone when making your weekly NFL picks. Let's dive into some of my favorite plays for Week 9.

🔮 More expert touchdown picks for Week 10

6️⃣ Anytime touchdown predictions: Week 10

Brock Bowers, TE, Raiders (+175) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Already third among Raiders pass-catchers with 31 receptions and 40 targets through just five games played, Brock Bowers is in for an expanded role in the team's first game since the trade of wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (33 receptions, 49 targets).

Though this is far from the most favorable matchup, Denver has allowed tight ends to score three touchdowns on the season, and Bowers scored once in his two games against the division rival as a rookie. I expect Bowers to be force-fed all night long in a pass-heavy game script for the 9.5-point underdog Raiders.

Take the +175 odds from DraftKings over the +160 odds found elsewhere for an extra $1.50 in profit on a winning $10 bet.

6️⃣ First touchdown predictions: Week 10

Stefon Diggs, WR, Patriots (vs. Buccaneers): +190

They’ve officially allowed Stefon Diggs to catch fire. The man has scored in two straight games and is back to being a full-blown red-zone headache for defenses. With nine targets inside the 20, he sits eighth in the league in red-zone opportunities - and when you’re hauling in 77% of those looks (best in the NFL among qualified WRs), good things usually happen.

And with this matchup expected to light up the scoreboard - the game total hovering near 50 - I’m happily betting on Diggs to find the end zone again. When he’s cooking like this, you don’t fade him.

❓ NFL touchdown props FAQs

What is a touchdown scorer prop bet?

A touchdown scorer prop bet is a wager on which player will score a touchdown during a game, regardless of the final outcome. These bets are popular because they focus on individual performances, not the team’s result.

How do anytime touchdown scorer odds work?

Anytime touchdown odds reflect the likelihood of a player scoring at least one touchdown in a game. For example, a +150 bet means a $100 wager would return $150 in profit if the player scores.

What’s the difference between first and anytime touchdown scorer bets?

An anytime touchdown bet pays out if the player scores at any point during the game, while a first touchdown scorer bet only wins if they score the first TD. First touchdown bets offer higher payouts but come with more risk.
