The Miami Dolphins came up just short in QB Tua Tagovailoa's return from a concussion last week as they fell 28-27 at home to the Arizona Cardinals. Hill garnered nine targets for just the second time since Tagovailoa's only complete game of the season in Week 1.

He caught six of those for 72 yards - his highest yardage total since Week 1 - but he failed to find the end zone while playing 88% of the snaps in the loss. I expect him to find his way against a Buffalo Bills defense which he carved up for 140 yards and one touchdown while catching 10 of 18 targets across two games last year.

We're getting inflated +165 odds for an anytime touchdown this week as a result, and a winning $10 bet would return a $16.50 profit. That's an extra $3 in profit compared to the market-low +135 odds from Caesars.

Cowboys vs. Falcons anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Tyler Allgeier, ATL, RB ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +170 via Caesars | Implied probability: 37.04%

Trying to forecast the Atlanta Falcons' touchdown scorers in any given week has felt a bit like a round of roulette. With so many mouths to feed, seven players have scored a rushing and/or receiving touchdown through eight weeks while the team averages a modest 24.3 points per game.

But the Falcons are 3.5-point home favorites with an Over/Under of 52 points against the Dallas Cowboys being the highest of Sunday's slate. There's a good chance multiple players get into the end zone this week.

I'm mostly drawn to Atlanta's backfield against a Cowboys defense that has allowed nine rushing touchdowns and 766 yards on the ground through seven games played. They've also allowed one receiving score to a running back.

The +170 best odds for Allgeier to score his second touchdown of the season come from Caesars while FanDuel's +135 odds represent an implied win probability of 42.55%.

Jaguars vs. Eagles anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Parker Washington, JAC, WR ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +360 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 21.74%

The Jacksonville Jaguars will definitely be without wide receiver Christian Kirk, and quite possibly the duo of Brian Thomas Jr. and Gabe Davis on Sunday. Those absences would leave Washington as the No. 1 option for QB Trevor Lawrence against a Philadelphia Eagles defense that excels against tight ends and should limit Evan Engram.

Washington played a season-high 74% of the snaps last week as those injuries to the aforementioned players piled up against the Green Bay Packers. He turned that playing time and four targets into three catches and 46 yards. The sixth-round pick of the 2023 draft scored two touchdowns as a rookie.

But the best part about this pick is the value offered by DraftKings relative to the FanDuel odds included in our anytime touchdown scorer parlay for Sunday.

The +360 odds would return a profit of $36 on a winning $10 bet, while the +165 odds from FanDuel would fetch just $16.50 in profit. However, those lower odds represent an implied win probability of 37.74%, according to our odds converter, so we can take advantage of the inflated odds at DraftKings.

Anytime touchdown scorer predictions for Sunday Night Football

Colts anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Josh Downs, WR ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +230 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 30.30%

There might not be anyone on the Colts more excited about the switch from Anthony Richardson to Joe Flacco under center than Downs. While he balled out last week with A-Rich, he's had his most consistent success with Flacco, snagging 24 receptions from 30 targets that the veteran QB has tossed his way this season.

Downs has a 26.5% target share (eighth) while receiving nine catchable targets per game (first) which has led to 19.2 fantasy points per game (seventh) with Flacco, according to Fantasy Points Data. With Richardson, those numbers fall to 21.1% (32nd), 3.3 (66th), and 9.6 (52nd), respectively.

Minnesota allows the third-most passing yards per game (263) and the second-most touchdowns per game to wideouts (1.4). The Vikings are listed as 5.5-point favorites on Sunday, which means that Indy might be playing catch-up.

That's a situation ripe for Downs to be a playmaker.

Vikings anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Justin Jefferson, WR to score first touchdown ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +600 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 14.29%

Jefferson accounts for five of Sam Darnold’s 14 passing touchdowns this season. Two of those have opened the scoring in the game.

The veteran wideout scored once in the last three weeks, however, he did open up the season with a touchdown in each of his first four games. Our Phil Wood is also counting on a Jefferson score with his Justin Jefferson SNF player prop bets.

Minnesota has only four rushing touchdowns this season and scored just once on the ground in the last two weeks. I anticipate this trend continuing against a Colts defense that is allowing an average of just 0.9 rushing touchdowns per game.

Jefferson is -120 for an anytime touchdown at several of our NFL prop betting sites. You will feel good doubling up here when that score happens and it’s the first one of the game.

A $10 bet on his first touchdown will bring back $60 in profit, according to our betting calculator.

Pick made via Rod Villagomez's first touchdown scorer predictions.
