Sportsbook Review betting analyst Neil Parker is backing the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4 as he reveals his top survivor picks, determined by the latest NFL odds from our best sports betting apps.

Survivor contests and pools have witnessed a significant drop in participants during the NFL's first three weeks. While you might assume picking one winner each week in the NFL would be straightforward, every season serves as a reminder of just how challenging a survivor pool can be.

In Week 3, heavy favorites like the Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens, and Dallas Cowboys disappointed pool participants. Nevertheless, we find ourselves in a good position following the Seattle Seahawks' 37-27 home victory over the Carolina Panthers.

I took long looks at Dallas and the Philadelphia Eagles for Week 4, but the San Francisco 49ers are on my dance card instead as part of our NFL predictions for Week 4. To round out your picks, also look toward our NFL upset picks for Week 4NFL Week 4 parlay picks, and NFL Week 4 player props.

Survivor picks NFL Week 4: Rankings

4. Cowboys (vs. Patriots)

The New England Patriots aren’t going to sneak up on the Cowboys in Week 4, and I’m anticipating the Dallas pass rush making Pats QB Mac Jones uncomfortable early and often Sunday afternoon.

Additionally, after New England enjoyed a cupcake matchup against the New York Jets in Week 3, the Pats hit the road to face a capable offense for the third time in four games. Expect Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott to put too many points on the board.

3. Eagles (vs. Commanders)

Let’s not nitpick the reigning NFC Champions and their 3-0 start. The Eagles are dominating in the trenches, and their playmakers are taking advantage on both sides of the ball.

Washington Commanders QB Sam Howell threw four interceptions in Week 3 and the Buffalo Bills sacked him nine times. Howell and the Washington offense should be better in this divisional matchup, but we just saw how the Commanders fared against the NFL’s upper echelon during their 37-3 home loss to the Bills.

My only fear with the Eagles is that this is a divisional game on a short week.

2. Chiefs (at Jets)

Lost in all the Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce noise, and the Chiefs rolling after consecutive wins, is that this edition of Kansas City's defense might be the best in recent memory. As if quarterback Patrick Mahomes needs any additional help adding to the wins column.

So, with Kansas City strutting into the Big Apple in front of a flock of new fans and boasting a well-rounded, well-coached attack, I’m not giving the New York Jets and floundering quarterback Zach Wilson much of a chance in Week 4.

Bengals (at Titans)

The 1-2 Cincinnati Bengals were barely able to take care of the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3, and quarterback Joe Burrow is still battling a lingering calf injury. Now Cincy hits the road against a respectable defense and an experienced head coach.

Additionally, while I generally advise against looking ahead, the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, and Indianapolis Colts are still on the Bengals' schedule. Those games should set up better for Cincinnati, especially once Burrow is back to full health.

Survivor picks NFL Week 3: My pick

1. 49ers (vs. Cardinals)

Anyway you slice it, the Cardinals have gone toe-to-toe with the NFC East through the first three weeks, and their 28-16 home upset over the Cowboys as a double-digit underdog was impressive.

Still, a trip to Levi’s Stadium to face San Francisco will be too much for Arizona. The Niners are loaded with playmakers who are showing off on both sides of the ball.

Finally, while again I’m always mindful that looking ahead can be hazardous, the remaining schedule for the Niners isn’t a cakewalk. It includes two tough upcoming matchups against the Cowboys in Week 5, and the Bengals in Week 8.
