The Bears trot out one of the NFL's worst pass defenses, but the unit has been better in recent weeks. It's allowing just 202 passing yards per game over that stretch, including holding Jared Goff to just 236 yards in Week 11.

Dobbs has gone over this total one time since arriving in Minnesota. He’s also thrown for more than 236 yards just twice throughout the entire season. The Bears’ defense has been far from great. Nonetheless, expecting Dobbs to go 35 yards above his season average seems unrealistic.
Our best sportsbooks are in disagreement over what the total should for this prop. FanDuel is featuring it at 227.5, while bet365 is offering it at 228.5. DraftKings and Caesars are both listing the total at 231.5, with each favoring the Under.
BetMGM is a serious outlier right now, especially since it isn't heavily leaning toward the Under. Therefore, we recommend pouncing on that price.

The Bears field the league's top-ranked rush defense, but whether Dobbs hits this Over is tied more to their pass defense. The Bears have given up a lot of passing yards in 2023 (245.9 per game, ranking 25th). While many would blame the secondary, the issue actually lies with the defensive line.
That group is averaging 1.4 sacks per game, the NFL's lowest mark. Dobbs will therefore get plenty of time to survey the field on Monday. If he feels that the coverage is too good, the athletic signal-caller will take off and run.

The Bears are allowing just 0.5 rushing touchdowns per game in 2023. But those numbers can go out the window when it comes to mobile quarterbacks. The Vikings have produced only the 27th-most rushing yards in the NFL during 2023. So with the absence of any serious rushing threat aside from him, Dobbs becomes the best option for Minnesota no matter where the team is on the field.
The price for this prop varies greatly. BetMGM is listing it all the down at +120. That’s far too low to play. Meanwhile, Caesars is offering +140 odds. While we’d consider playing this prop for that price, instead sprint to the far better odds at bet365.
