The NFL's Week 12 slate concludes with the Chicago Bears' visit to play the rival Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football, and we have you covered with our best Bears vs. Vikings predictions based on the best NFL odds at our best sports betting apps.

Last week, Justin Fields returned to the starting lineup as the Chicago Bears' quarterback against the Detroit Lions. Fields threw for 169 yards and one touchdown while also gaining 104 yards rushing in his first game since Oct. 15.

However, despite Fields' performance, the Bears allowed a 12-point lead to slip away in the final four minutes, resulting in a 3-8 record for Chicago.

In Week 11, the Minnesota Vikings maintained the lead for most of the game against the Denver Broncos. Nonetheless, they surrendered a touchdown with 1:03 remaining, breaking their five-game win streak with a 21-20 loss on Sunday Night Football. Despite the absence of QB Kirk Cousins and wide receiver Justin Jefferson, the Vikings still hold one of the NFC's Wild Card spots and have managed to sustain success.

Jefferson was ruled inactive once again for Week 12 on Monday afternoon.

Bears vs. Vikings prediction: Monday Night Football

Bears +3.5 (-115 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fields is just 1-6 as a starting quarterback this season. His presence is an improvement over Tyson Bagent, but the Bears have lost three of his starts by 10 or more points. Yet, after what the Bears did for 55 minutes against the Detroit Lions last week, it’s hard not to be excited about their chances this week.

The defense held the Lions to 14 points for 57 minutes. They intercepted Jared Goff three times and allowed just 338 yards. They collapsed at the end of the game, but those three minutes don’t change the fact that the Bears looked good last week.

Our Phil Wood agrees in his Josh Dobbs player prop picks, as he believes the Vikings' signal-caller will be held in check through the air.

When these two teams met back in Week 6, Fields was injured during the game, and Bagent entered in relief. The Bears lost that game by just six points and held a mostly healthy Vikings offense to just 220 yards. With Kirk Cousins out and Josh Dobbs under center, the Vikings’ offense is considerably worse than it was during the first meeting between these two teams.

Getting this spread at our best sports betting apps at 3.5 instead of three is enormous. Neither of these offenses is great, and with both defenses playing well, every point will matter. This feels like a game that will be decided by a field goal late. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Bears come away victorious, but we’d still play the spread instead of the moneyline, especially getting the hook at 3.5.

If you want to parlay, we highly recommend playing this at Caesars. This could be a deceivingly low-scoring game, and Caesars currently has the total listed 1.5 points higher than any other major sportsbook.

Bears vs. Vikings odds analysis

The Vikings opened as 4.5-point favorites, and the spread has dropped to 3.5 at our best sports betting sites. Around 70% of wagers back the Vikings, yet the spread is in danger of dropping to three points, as the price for Bears +3.5 is at least -115 at every major sportsbook. This spread will drop to the key number even if the public continues to back the home team.

As for the total, the number opened at 43.5, and it now sits at either 43 or 43.5 at four of the five major sportsbooks. However, Caesars is offering 45, the highest number by far. This probably won’t last, even with 74% of wagers backing the Over, but if you’re on the Under, get in at Caesars before it drops its number to resemble the other sportsbooks.
