Michael Penix Jr. leads the Atlanta Falcons into Washington in his second game as a pro in an attempt to push his team closer to the playoffs.

He won't have it easy as the Washington Commanders look to consolidate their playoff positioning in tonight's contest at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Md. (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC). The Commanders enter the game as 3.5-point favorites via the Sunday Night Football odds

Our Falcons vs. Commanders SNF player props, part of the SNF coverage that includes the Falcons vs. Commanders prediction, analyze the chances for Penix to toss at least two touchdowns while focusing on Bijan Robinson and Terry McLaurin.

Falcons vs. Commanders updated betting info

The Falcons opened as 5-point underdogs but have since moved to 3.5-point underdogs. At BetMGM, 68% of the handle and 74% of the money is on the Commanders. The total moved from 47.5 to 46.5, and the Falcons moved from +185 to +155 on the moneyline.

Terry McLaurin anytime touchdown scorer (+105)

Life is good for Terry McLaurin. The talented veteran receiver has cycled through a number of underwhelming quarterbacks during his career in Washington, but he has finally found a quarterback capable of fueling his deep-play capabilities in Jayden Daniels.

McLaurin has had a nose for the end zone this season, scoring a dozen touchdowns and cashing in on his anytime touchdown prop in four straight games. No team has allowed fewer rushing scores per game than the Falcons this season, so the Commanders should look to filter their scoring through the air.

McLaurin’s ATD odds are most fruitful at FanDuel, where we can score odds at +105. None of our other best sports betting sites currently offers McLaurin at plus-money odds.

Best odds: +105 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 48.78%

Bijan Robinson Under 83.5 rushing yards (-110)

Bijan Robinson is a scary fade after he’s cleared this rushing line in four straight weeks. But with the Falcons featured as road underdogs, we’re anticipating Atlanta being forced to lean more heavily on the passing game in this one.

Last week against Saquon Barkley was a setback, but Washington’s run defense had been trending in a healthy direction before that game. The Commanders have allowed only one non-Saquon rusher to clear 83.5 yards against them since the start of November.

Washington has allowed 24.7 fewer rushing yards per game at home compared to their numbers on the road. With some sportsbooks posting a lower line, Under bettors should target DraftKings, BetMGM, and bet365 (83.5 yards).

Best odds: -110 via bet365 | Implied probability: 52.38%

Michael Penix Jr. Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+150)

While Michael Penix Jr. is an unproven NFL commodity, we’re trusting the top-10 pick to put the ball in the end zone in a game script that positions it as a necessity for the Falcons.

Washington has surrendered 24 passing touchdowns on the year, ranking as the ninth-most in the NFL. Conversely, the Commanders have allowed only two total rushing touchdowns per game over their last three contests, which could be another element that filters the scoring through the air for Atlanta.

Because Penix Jr. has little NFL pedigree at this early stage of his career, he’s seeing soft plus-money odds to throw multiple touchdown passes. BetMGM (+150) offers slightly better odds than DraftKings (+145) on this prop.
