Dustin Saracini: Ravens -6.5

Lamar Jackson, anyone? Jackson has been stewing on the sidelines while watching his team get absolutely spanked for three straight weeks. While the Ravens' issues stem from more than just the quarterback position, expect Jackson to put his stamp on this game and move Baltimore to 2-5 in a big way.

Gary Pearson: Giants +7

The Giants could charge other teams for a tutorial on how to dominate the Philadelphia Eagles. While I don’t expect the G-Men to enjoy another lopsided victory like they did in Week 6 over the defending Super Bowl champions, they should be able to keep it close. 

Jaxson Dart and Co. executed an away masterclass before suffering from a catastrophic fourth-quarter meltdown in Denver. The rookie signal-caller will learn from that unforgettable experience and be better for it. Plus, the Eagles rarely break it open when being favored so heavily.

Sean Tomlinson: Cowboys vs. Broncos Over 50.5

The Cowboys’ offense has been set to searing hot mode for a while now, and that’s especially true for quarterback Dak Prescott. He’s thrown 13 touchdown passes without an interception over the team’s last four games, leading a unit that’s tallied 40-plus points three times already and is averaging 31.7 per contest (second leaguewide).

The Broncos’ defense offers a tough test, even for a sizzling quarterback and offense. But even if Denver knocks Dallas’ offense down a peg, the Broncos’ offense can do the rest of the lifting to get over this number against a nearly non-existent Cowboys defense allowing 29.4 points per outing (31st).

LJ Blut: Cowboys vs. Broncos Over 50.5

Dallas enters the week 5-2 to the Over. The Broncos are coming in off a thrilling 33-32 win against the New York Giants, and I anticipate their scoring run to continue into this week. 

Denver's defense is the best thing about this team, but if the New York Giants were able to score 32 points against them, I can only predict more points from the Cowboys’ side.

🏈 Best NFL player prop bets

Saracini: Cam Skattebo Over 55.5 rushing yards

We are absolutely going back to the well here after Skattebo cashed for us in back-to-back weeks. The NFL prop betting sites are slowly catching on here, adding five yards to his total for Week 8, but that's still not enough for me to take his Under.

Not only has Skattebo gone over this number in five straight weeks, he's getting all of the volume out of that Giants backfield. He carried the ball 25-15-19-16 times across the last four weeks. If he's anywhere near that average of 18 totes, we'll have plenty of space to soar past 55.5 rushing yards as part of our best NFL player prop bets for Week 8.

Pearson: Dak Prescott Over 1.5 TD passes

Dak Prescott, one of the most clutch QBs, tossed 10 TD passes in the previous three games, seven of which were in two road games. He has 16 TD passes in seven games, one behind leader Matthew Stafford. While the Broncos have only allowed seven TD passes against, tied for the second fewest with five other teams, Prescott has hit the Over in five of seven games. 

And he has both CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens to target, the former of whom didn’t miss a beat in his return to the lineup last week, catching five passes for 110 yards and a touchdown.

Tomlinson: Bo Nix Over 232.5 passing yards

An imposing Broncos rushing offense ranks fifth leaguewide, and Denver often leans on that strength combined with its stellar defense.

But like most games involving the Cowboys recently, this contest comes with strong shootout potential, and it’s getting a total of 50.5 from some of the best sports betting sites. That will require Bo Nix continuing to pass to keep up with the smoldering-hot Prescott, and he’ll be doing it against a Cowboys defense that sits dead last while giving up 260.3 passing yards per game.

Blut: Jaxson Dart anytime TD

Jaxson Dart anytime touchdown continues to be undervalued by the best sports betting apps. He has scored a rushing touchdown in three of the four games he has started, including against this exact Eagles defense. 

Each week, I have thought the odds would get closer to even money, but they are still giving us +230 betting odds. The Giants will need Dart to utilize his legs to extend plays, and he should be able to create extra time and rush for a touchdown at least once in this game.
