Dak Prescott leads the Dallas Cowboys into a road Sunday Night Football matchup at Levi’s Stadium with the San Francisco 49ers looking to end the team’s three-game losing streak to the NFC powerhouse.

Kickoff at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. will be at 8:20 p.m. ET with the game on NBC.

Few quarterbacks are asked to throw as much as Prescott is in this Cowboys offense. Prescott ranks fourth in passing yards per game and eighth in passing attempts.

While those statistics would suggest I would love the Over on Prescott’s 243.5 passing yards, the fact is that he has been a top-12 fantasy quarterback twice this season. Meanwhile, the 49ers have allowed 13 or more fantasy points to quarterbacks in just two of seven games.

While the volume should be there for Prescott, as he has attempted 33 or more passes in four of the previous five games, his completion percentage ceiling is low. San Francisco ranks in the top four in CPOE (completion percentage over expected).

Prescott has struggled mightily against the 49ers in the last three meetings, including the playoffs.

In that span, Prescott has produced a 41.6 Total QBR, posted a 3-6 TD-INT ratio, completed 58% of his passes, and averaged 5.9 yards per attempt. All of those rank worst of any team he has faced multiple times in the last five seasons.

I cannot make this more than a three-star play in confidence since I expect Prescott to chuck it at least 35 times. But compared to his Under of 1.5 passing touchdowns which is juiced as high as -165 at our NFL prop betting sites, this presents much better value.

These odds for Prescott to throw at least one interception are right on the edge of what I am comfortable wagering on, but it comes with four stars of confidence as well.

Prescott’s 49 Total QBR ranks just 23rd. And while he has played interception-free football in half of the games this season, he has also thrown multiple interceptions in each game in the other half.

San Francisco has allowed the fifth-lowest passer rating to opposing quarterbacks, and it is an opportunistic defense that's tied for fifth with eight interceptions.

BetMGM and Caesars have the Over juiced to -135, carrying a 57.45% implied probability, so Over backers will find the best price at DraftKings.
